"Was going to stay at the Premier Inn a short distance away from this place but strangely the price was crazy - this place was about £100 cheaper. Cost us £110 BnB for one night. If you're unfamiliar with driving round Ipswich, I strongly suggest using a sat nav as it's just a mess and if you get in the wrong lane it's game over. :-) This hotel has chargeable parking but very reasonably priced for 24 hours and is just a short walk to the harbour with it's associated bars etc. A bit of work going on in the area so it should improve soon. The room itself was your basic Travelodge type, clean and pretty much all you need for a night. Had breakfast as well, a buffet style thing - all piping hot and very well kept. Travelodge breakfasts are comparable to Premier Inn ones and in some cases are better... For the price I would stay there again."

"Het is ongeveer 10 minuten van het treinstation lopen. Rein, mooie uitzichten als in geselecteerde kamers. Niemand heeft het over de sportschool of het restaurant verteld, dus vragen we andere klanten. Ze zeiden dat ze het nodig hadden, maar ze zeiden dat niet toen ik het had geboekt. Maar ik zou zeggen dat dit een verbeterde reisruimte is. We zullen terug zijn om het eten uit te proberen zoals we hier niet eerder over wisten. Goede locatie voor plaatsen als dans oost of voetbal"

"Hier met 3 vrienden gestrand na een hel ervaring met airbnb, ik ga het hele verhaal met airbnb niet eens opnoemen maar wij kwamen rond 2 uur in de nacht aan bij dit hotel en werden vriendelijk ontvangen. ons verhaal gedaan en er stonden gelijk 4 koude heineken voor ons klaar. kamers zijn prima en de bedden liggen goed. PS: thanks naar de local die ons hierheen heeft gebracht, hij bood zelfs een slaapplek bij hem aan als we hier niet terecht konden! top mensen in ipswich :)"

"Quite a wacky, quirky hotel- which we love! The main hotel is unique and fab, but the rooms are tired and outdated and could be cleaned to a higher standard. The tap water is not drinkable, so more drinking water also needs to be provided and accessible in double and twin rooms- one bottle for two people is not enough. When phoning reception to request two bottles of water, we were still only given one and the empty bottle we had was also weirdly and awkwardly requested and collected at our door first, before we were allowed more water, which was then bought separately and left outside the room? Just a little odd when they have to provide drinking water. A great location hotel though and we actually love the extravagant, crazy style of the main hotel and have been back 3 times and would stay again when in the area for work. You have to see it to believe it!"
