"It's about 10mins away from train station walking, Clean, nice views if in selected rooms. No one explained about the gym or restaurant so we ask other customers. They said they needed i.d but didn't say this when I had booked it. But I would say this is like a upgraded travel lodge. We will be back to try the food out as didn't know about this before like mentioned. Good location for places like dance east or football"

"Have stayed at this Travelodge 4 times in the past year while visiting family. The restaurant serves a great buffet breakfast. There's road noise affecting the rooms at the front of the hotel. Rooms at the back are much quieter but you only get a view of the car park. Car park is now £6.50/day and may get full in the evenings."

"We stayed at this hotel for one night and I can't fault it. The staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean. It was hot but there was a fan which was good. The bar prices weren't bad and it was a good measure. Breakfast was nice. Lots to choose from and good coffee, which is a bonus. Hotel is in a great place to visit Ipswich. Would I stay here again.. very much so."
