Five-Star Bay Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Hubin Yongjin Plaza)

"Ik heb drie dagen in Hangzhou doorgebracht en twee nachten in dit hotel verbleven. Kortom, het hotel verdient een score van ongeveer 9 van de 10. Voor deze prijs is het echt heel goed en zeer aan te bevelen. De kamer had alles wat je nodig hebt, de omgeving en het design waren ook goed, en er was een Xiaodu AI die eenvoudige commando's kon uitvoeren. Ik wil een paar details noemen. Ten eerste was er een speciale stang om kleding op te hangen, en de kleerhangers waren netjes opgehangen. In sommige hotels waar ik eerder ben geweest, waren er te weinig, rommelige of zelfs helemaal geen kleerhangers, of geen plek om kleding goed te drogen. Dit hotel was hierin dus veel beter. Ten t****e werd het warme water heel snel warm en was het makkelijk te regelen. Je hoefde niet te wachten op warm water tijdens het douchen, en de temperatuur reageerde direct, zonder dat je een halve tot hele minuut moest wachten voordat de watertemperatuur veranderde. Ten derde was er in de douche een touw dat je kon uittrekken om dingen aan op te hangen. Dit heb ik in andere hotels nog niet gezien. Ik hing er mijn handdoek aan om te drogen en later te gebruiken. Ten vierde, naast de spiegel bij de wastafel was er nog een kleine ronde spiegel, zo een die vrouwen vaak gebruiken voor make-up, en er was ook een grote passpiegel. Bovendien, hoewel de wastafel niet erg diep was, had deze een naar binnen toe gerichte V-vorm, waardoor water minder snel spatte bij het handen wassen of tanden poetsen, veel beter dan die ondiepe, platte wastafels waar water snel uitspat. Er waren ook vergaderzalen, waarschijnlijk om mensen een plek te bieden om te verblijven – ik ben er niet geweest. Er was ook een wasserette en een fitnessruimte, waar ik wel langs ben gelopen. Hoewel ik ze niet heb gebruikt, is het fijn dat ze er zijn. De locatie is twee stoplichten verwijderd van het metrostation, ongeveer iets meer dan tien minuten lopen, wat prima is. Je kunt ook direct naar de West Lake lopen, ongeveer twintig minuten. Tot slot een klein nadeel. Omdat dit hotel vrij groot is, zijn veel kamers op de vijfde verdieping raamloos. Dit is begrijpelijk, want niet elke kamer kan aan de buitenkant liggen. Voor mij was het acceptabel, maar het is normaal dat sommigen dit niet kunnen accepteren. Er zijn ook twee punten die verbeterd kunnen worden: ten eerste zijn er desinfectiedoekjes voor het toilet aanwezig in de badkamer, maar ik denk dat een wegwerp toiletbrilhoesje ook een goede aanvulling zou zijn. Ten t****e, voor een betere ervaring zou een föhn kunnen worden toegevoegd, zodat je je haar kunt drogen na het douchen (voor mij maakt het niet uit, want mijn haar is kort en droogt snel, en ik gebruik in het dagelijks leven geen föhn, maar veel mensen met lang haar gebruiken wel graag een föhn). "We waren met ons gezin van vier personen voor een diepgaande reis van 5 dagen en 4 nachten in Hangzhou. Eén daarvan is het beheer van het zwembad. Het is begrijpelijk dat het zwembad van dit hotel redelijk goed is. De watertemperatuur is relatief hoog en het is erg vriendelijk voor kinderen. Het bevindt zich ook op de bovenste verdieping van het hotel met een weids uitzicht vrijetijdssport. Maar de badmeesters zijn niet goed op elkaar afgestemd. Ik vraag me af of hier een verplichting voor zou moeten zijn? Toen ik daar de eerste avond ging, droeg de badmeester de hele tijd een koptelefoon en hield hij een mobiele telefoon in zijn hand. Ik begreep dat hij spelletjes speelde en lette er niet op of de kinderen in het zwembad in gevaar waren. Ik ging de volgende ochtend terug en er waren helemaal geen strandwachten. Het water in dit zwembad is niet ondiep, ik denk dat het 160 graden is. Veel kinderen kunnen de bodem niet met hun voeten bereiken, wat nog steeds een veiligheidsrisico is. Het t****e probleem is het ontbijtprobleem. Het eten werd niet tijdig bijgevuld en het sap werd niet tijdig bijgevuld. Ik herinner me dat Intercontinental hiervoor eisen stelt, maar dit is hier duidelijk niet geïmplementeerd. Er waren niet genoeg obers. Voor ons is het belangrijkste een menselijke touch, gastvrijheid, netheid. Het hoeft niet allemaal perfect te zijn, maar het moet wel redelijk en passend zijn, en aan al deze punten voldoen ze. Deze keer heb ik niet ontbeten, maar toen ik vanaf het ruime balkon het uitzicht op het Westelijke Meer zag, zag ik het personeel zo serieus en zorgvuldig keukengerei en de vloer schoonmaken. Ik begreep toen waarom de omgeving zo comfortabel is. Ik begrijp ook waarom ze de grote ruimtes gebruiken om cultuur te tonen en te demonstreren (maar niet op een opdringerige manier), wat heel toepasselijk is en niet geforceerd aanvoelt. Ik zou hier de volgende keer zeker weer willen verblijven. (Als de theezakjes en koffie op de kamer iets beter van kwaliteit zouden zijn, zou dat een leuke verrassing zijn!)"

"Het was mijn eerste keer dat ik in dit hotel verbleef en ik was zeer tevreden. Ik had niet verwacht dat ik terug zou komen voor een volgend bezoek. De service was erg goed en geweldig. Gevraagd of ik suggesties heb, heb ik geen suggesties omdat de kamer erg schoon is en elk personeelslid geweldig is, ongeacht op welke afdeling ze zich bevinden op de eerste verdieping of het restaurant op de achtste verdieping. Als toerist voelt mijn hart heel erg warm. De kamer is erg mooi. Je kunt zien dat deze zorgvuldig is schoongemaakt. Toen vergat ik mijn spullen en dacht er niet eens over na. Het hotelpersoneel belde me zelfs en zei dat ik het via SF Express moest sturen. Ik heb het berekend en het was niet nodig om te veel geld uit te geven. Maar het hotel troostte mij en zei dat ik me geen zorgen hoefde te maken. Ik was echt ontroerd door zijn oprechtheid. Er zijn maar weinig hotels die dit kunnen. Bovendien belde mijn zus me om me te vertellen hoe ik het inchecken de volgende keer gemakkelijker en sneller kon maken. De volgende keer dat ik terugkom, zal ik in het Grand Hyatt verblijven."

This is a good hotel in a convenient location. The staff was remarkably proactive, they even helped us with our laundry needs before we could inquire. And their service shines: when I left an item behind, they immediately helped locate it and arranged to have it shipped out to me. Truly above-and-beyond service that I greatly appreciate.

Fuchun mountain resort is strongly recommended for foreigners like our family. Peaceful Lake with awesome landscape made our family to feel refreshing. Chinese traditional style hotel room is quite cozy. Complementary service like taking a picture by photographer is to be made a reservation when check in, otherwise fully booked in case of weekend.

Beautifully located hotel, with great views and access to Qiandaohu. Amazing service by Intercontinental Experience Ambassador Klein, who was able to help with any requests needed. Children loved the services available including electric cars, train, indoor play area. The only area I would say needs some improvement is food choices for children. Very limited choices for what they could eat.

房間很暗，雖説為了可持續發展，但這麼暗真的大可不必。而且療愈酒店為什麼就不能讓朋友們來入住呢？實在搞不懂為啥房間都是大床房，雖然都是獨棟式，但比想象中小得多，卧室基本沒什麼走動空間。大冬天的卧室其實不夠温暖，加了個取暖器分分鐘起夜的時候被絆倒。那個單獨的茶室也沒什麼必要，還不如改裝成另一個卧室。朋友洗澡的時候説水冷的不得了。 酒店打車不易，酒店好像有一輛還是兩輛車子，但大部分時間沒空載客人出入。。。所以根本沒法去周邊的莊園和水庫逛。酒店提供的活動是固定時間的，配合不了就衹能錯過。 因為出不去就衹能在酒店用餐，餐食價格不低但味道着實一般，就是家裡用現成醬料炒出來的味道，也兼顧不了色香味😅。 感覺酒店整體主題不錯才被吸引入住，但真的定價過高也達不到在酒店就能放鬆療愈的目標。

Our stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Our Family Vacations
Great hotel stay with my kids. A lot of variety for breakfast. My stay was made exceptional thanks to the wonderful service from Li Bin: Nova, Xiao Qi. He was professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Their genuine care and consistent attentiveness created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
