Hotels in Chengdu met Wifi

Hotel is so new! Its lobby, corridor, room, facilities and environment feel modern and new. The counter staffs seem to be around 24hr. So not to worry if you are checking in/out at wee hours. You can even deposit luggage with them after you check out. Their counter staff are very professional and good. There was once their staff helped to bring luggages to our room while we are settling bills at the counter. Hotel location is good, there is a supermarket across the road, convenience store (with coffee shop combined), below the hotel. There are few eateries as well. Need to didi to tourist attractions - Taikooli, IFS etc. Better to set pickup or dropoff location at the hotel parking lot entrance, as the door entrance (lobby) there is abit inconvenient due to the right turning road with bicycle lane which is abit dangerous. There are robots in the hotel that serves delivery. I've stayed in two different rooms due to personal arrangement. And both rooms are great.

We verbleven er 9 nachten achter elkaar! Het is ongeveer 40 minuten lopen naar de Panda Base. Na een lange dag wandelen kwamen we thuis en vonden we een balkon met een wasruimte op de t****e verdieping – superhandig! Het schoonmaakpersoneel houdt de plek elke dag brandschoon en er is genoeg flessenwater! De receptionisten waren allemaal ontzettend vriendelijk en benaderbaar, als familie. 🤭 De architectuur in binnenplaatsstijl zorgde ervoor dat we konden genieten van een bijzonder lekker ontbijt! Het Wenshu-klooster ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen. Er zijn overal restaurants. Een echte aanrader voor gezinnen met kinderen.

The owner was genuinely kind and very helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make things easy for us. They even helped us carry our luggage up and down, which meant a lot especially since we were travelling with kids and had quite a few bags. What we appreciated most was how thoughtful they were in sharing local tips. They recommended several nice places to visit around Dujiangyan, including family-friendly spots, good food, and scenic areas that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Because of their suggestions, our trip became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome, almost like staying with family rather than at a hotel. We’re truly grateful for their kindness and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dujiangyan.

I wanted to share a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu. This was the final stop on our China trip, and our experience here truly stood out - it was, without a doubt, the best customer service we received throughout our journey. While not all staff were fluent in English, those who communicated with us - both in person and via WeChat - were exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and professional. From the moment we arrived, Cheng Cheng welcomed us so warmly. He kindly assisted with our luggage up to the lobby and our room, and his enthusiasm in welcoming us to Chengdu immediately made us feel at home. After helping us check in, he briefly stepped away but returned shortly after to offer us a room change he had proactively arranged, having noticed an unpleasant food odour in the original room. This level of care and attention to detail meant so much to us. Throughout our stay, he continued to check in on us with a super friendly smile whenever we crossed paths, always ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our time. Thank you, Cheng Cheng! We would also like to thank James, who went above and beyond to help us with collecting our parcels - our first time ordering online in China. When our packages were diverted to a collection point, he personally accompanied us there and took the time to explain how the system works. This level of service is truly rare and it seemed so consistent with the whole team at this establishment. When one of our parcels was mistakenly picked up and opened by someone else, James and Echo, the duty manager, stepped in and liaised with the collection point to track it down and successfully retrieve it. Echo wanted to hand this item to us personally so that we could check the contents were in good condition. We were incredibly impressed and grateful. Echo also helped resolve a couple of delivery hiccups by assisting us in contacting courier customer service, ensuring everything was eventually delivered smoothly. Thank you, James and Echo! Last but certainly not least, our deepest thanks to Aggie. She was an absolute angel throughout our stay - so kind, approachable, and genuinely helpful. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us. She would help us with any issues promptly and nothing seemed like a hassle despite all the help we needed. When a couple of our deliveries couldn’t arrive before our departure, Aggie went out of her way to help arrange for the remaining parcels to be sent to us. Her care and dedication were truly exceptional and Hyatt Centric The Ring is so fortunate to have her as part of theteam! Thank you very much for everything, Aggie! The team’s thoughtfulness was evident in so many small ways as well - bringing parcels up to our room and even leaving a pair of scissors for us to use. These touches did not go unnoticed and made our stay all the more special. The breakfast was also excellent. If I were to offer any constructive feedback, it would be for housekeeping to pay a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms. That said, given the outstanding service we experienced, this was a very minor point, and I have no doubt it would have been promptly addressed had we raised it during our stay. Additionally, we found the laundry detergent used for the bath towels a little harsh and caused dryness for both my husband and me, though this was easily resolved with disposable cotton towels. Ultimately, it was the people at this hotel who made our stay so memorable. Their warmth, care, and professionalism far outweighed any minor issues. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be recommending it to family and friends visiting Chengdu.

Dit verblijf in Chengdu heeft mijn verwachtingen echt overtroffen en verdient de volle punten! Vanaf het moment dat ik het hotel binnenstapte, was de service ongelooflijk attent en hartverwarmend. De butler was zeer geduldig en zorgvuldig in het begeleiden en verwelkomen van ons. De receptioniste was vriendelijk en checkte ons snel in, en gaf ons geduldig uitleg over de faciliteiten van het hotel en de restaurants en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Tijdens ons verblijf hadden we een keer extra kussens nodig, en na een telefoontje naar de butler werden deze binnen tien minuten gebracht – zeer snel en met een uitzonderlijk goede houding, waardoor we heerlijk konden slapen. De hotelfaciliteiten waren ook uitstekend. Het beddengoed op de kamer was zacht en het matras bood uitstekende ondersteuning, waardoor we elke nacht goed sliepen. De kamer had snelle wifi, een grote tv, een minikoelkast, een wasmachine-drogercombinatie en toiletartikelen van bekende merken, wat ik met een gerust hart kon gebruiken. Er was zelfs handdesinfectiemiddel op alcoholbasis aanwezig. De wasmachine-drogercombinatie was vooral handig voor reizigers van ver zoals wij. De omgeving was ook fantastisch. Het hotel ligt in het stadscentrum en is gemakkelijk bereikbaar, met twee metrolijnen direct onder het gebouw. ​​Toch was het opvallend stil, volledig vrij van lawaai van buitenaf. De gangen en kamers waren brandschoon, vlekkeloos en goed onderhouden. De ramen boden een weids uitzicht over de stad en de kamers waren goed geventileerd en licht, wat zorgde voor een zeer comfortabel verblijf. Chengdu genoot bovendien van zeldzaam zonnig weer, haha! Kortom, het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf en ik zal dit hotel zeker weer kiezen als ik de volgende keer in de buurt van Tianfu Square en Chunxi Road ben.

Mijn eerste indruk van het PuShi Hotel was die van een ”rustig hoekje verscholen in de stad”. Bij binnenkomst in de lobby creëerden de warme houten elementen en geometrische lijnen een unieke sfeer. De receptioniste was altijd even vriendelijk en het inchecken verliep verrassend snel. De kamer was doordacht ingericht. De ramen van vloer tot plafond lieten veel zonlicht binnen, het beddengoed voelde alsof je in een wolk wegzakte en de warme gloed van het nachtlampje vormde een perfecte aanvulling op de schaduwen van de bomen buiten. De badkamer was het meest indrukwekkend; de aparte douche en het toilet waren netjes geplaatst en de toiletartikelen hadden een subtiele cedergeur – perfect om vermoeidheid weg te spoelen. Hoewel het ontbijt niet uitgebreid was, waren de versgemalen koffie en de zachtgekookte eieren heerlijk en het personeel schonk discreet warme melk in. Het is vijf minuten lopen naar het metrostation en er zijn verschillende goede restaurants in de buurt. Zelfs 's avonds laat begroette de bewaker me met een glimlach. Dit verblijf was comfortabel en ontspannend; ik zou dit hotel zeker weer kiezen.

This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). Thank you Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu! We had a great stay here. Will definitely be back!

De locatie is uitstekend, vlakbij de metro, waardoor je overal gemakkelijk naartoe kunt. Ik heb er twee dagen doorgebracht en ben naar het Chengdu Museum gelopen (wat zelfs na een halve dag nog gehaast aanvoelde), heb rondgewandeld in het Volkspark en je kunt er ook ontbijten in het Heming Tea House – net zoals je in Guangzhou 's ochtends thee drinkt, heel ontspannen. Je kunt ook een bezoek brengen aan Citang Street aan de overkant, die, hoewel klein, leuk is om doorheen te slenteren. Er zijn talloze restaurants in de buurt, dus ontbijten in het hotel is niet eens nodig.

(For context, I was a black female solo traveller) Location On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road. Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area. Service Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work). Facilities It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!). Cleanliness Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used! The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.

Voordelen: De kamer is erg schoon en de faciliteiten zijn nieuw. De dame bij de receptie van het hotel is erg aardig. De omgeving ligt dicht bij enkele woonwijken en units, dus het is erg stil en geschikt om uit te rusten. Nadelen: Het terras van de tuinkamer is universeel, je kunt heen en weer lopen wanneer je maar wilt, en de deur naar buiten heeft geen strakke slotkern, deze wordt geblokkeerd door een gesp. Als de wind sterk is, zal er een zwaaiend geluid zijn, en er is geen gevoel van veiligheid. En hoewel de algehele omgeving van het hotel stil is, is de geluidsisolatie zelf niet erg goed. Het geluid van mobiele telefoonmeldingen in de gang en het geluid van stromend water uit de kraan naast ons zijn duidelijk hoorbaar. Gelukkig zijn de gasten later op de avond over het algemeen stil, dus de impact is niet groot.
