Quiet nice unobtrusive atmosphere , clean tables and toilets. Plenty of parking and well lit. Good to get somewhere which lives up to expectations .Quiet background music.Looking forward to next visit. Too few places like this around"

"If you are traveling over the summer months please note that this hotel do not have air condition and it is very hot inside the room. There is no specification on the website so please make a note of it when booking. When we arrived on a hot day, we went inside the room, the black out curtain was drawn so the room is very dark during the day, and the fan is on tried to cool down the room. we decided to leave and did not stay the night. The hotel refused to refund and after we contacted our agent a few times stating the unlivable temperature in the room, the hotel finally said they will refund 15 GBP to us !!!"

"My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at The Kingsley. We didn’t arrive until 11pm and Peter was so accommodating and welcoming. It feels more like a beautiful home than a hotel. The decor is very boutique, the room had a warm feel and we found it really comfortable. My dog rue was able to stay with us which was so lovely as there aren’t many around that do. Oh and the breakfast was a Spanish style which was delicious! We would absolutely return, thank you for having us at such short notice!"

"Stayed two nights here and overall this was a pleasant stay in a lovely village. Staff were excellent and the food very good. There seemed to be a problem with the breakfast on the Saturday and a slight mis understanding with the room on the first night. However, this did not detract fr9m the stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this Pub/Hotel. Have to say raised my two queries on the Sunday with the two managers who were there and they were so polite and dealt with the matter in a most professional way. Thank you for your time and care you gave me much appreciated."
