This space is all about having a good time with family and friends. The private canal system is located directly behind Seahorse River House (formerly Siren’s Cove) where you can tie up your boat or take a provided kayak, paddle board or tube directly to the beautiful Weeki Wachee River or the open Gulf. A trip upstream features crystal clear waters, Florida wildlife including manatees and even dolphins for an experience that you'll never forget. Continue downstream with beautiful views and restaurants along the shore and ending with access to the Gulf of Mexico.
Within an easy 20-minute drive from the Seahorse River House you will find restaurants, shopping, movies, and a community theatre. The Upper Deck and La Bella Napoli are great family friendly restaurants located within walking distance and the grocery stores and bars are just a short drive away.
Relax and enjoy a large concrete entertainment area with lots of outdoor seating. There is also a large screened in area to sit, eat and hang out. There is a lot of space for entertainment. We provide 7 adult & 2 youth kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 5 tubes, 1 canoe and life jackets for a leisurely paddle down the canal into the Weeki Wachee Springs (4 minutes away). There is also a bike available to use.
The Weeki Wachee Springs state park is 4.6 miles away and has a live underwater performance by the nationally recognized Weeki Wachee Mermaids. Your family can get a first-hand encounter with some of Florida’s native wildlife with the wildlife shows at the park. You can even take a river boat cruse for an educational one of a kind experience.
For your convenience, you will find a washer and dryer inside the home. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, wall oven, electric stove stop, toaster, Keurig coffee pot a microwave and all the utensils you should need.
The upstairs balcony has a seating area, the large living room has nice leather reclining couches for you to relax and watch a movie on Netflix or Prime Video (DVD selection also provided). The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed. The guest room has 2 twin beds and a queen bed. There is also a nice 6 seat dining table as well as a foosball table.
Three flat screen TVs are provided, one for each of the two bedrooms and one for the living room area. Firesticks are installed on the bedroom tvs and the living room has a smart tv. WiFi is provided. Seahorse River House has 2 full bathrooms, including a huge soaking tub in the master bath. There is also a half bath under the house on the ground level.
We emphasis cleanliness and have housekeepers come in after each stay to thoroughly clean and sanitize the home. Garbage pick-up is included and is picked up Tuesdays and Fridays. We ask that you place the garbage cans at the end of the driveway.
Guest access
Guests are free to enjoy the entire home and we have a large concrete hang out area downstairs that includes a nice bug-free screened in porch area downstairs right on the private canal.

Trust me, you want to be on the main river (not a canal) with direct access to the clear waters of the Weeki Wachee River. Roger's Park is a quick row up river, and just around the corner from that is Hospital Hole where manatees love to congregate. Our house is one of the newer homes on the river with balconies galore and can accommodate your large group with 4 spacious bedrooms and an elevator (for elderly/handicapped use). Bring your boat to tie up or use the 7 single kayaks and two 3 person canoes provided (one canoe may not be available at times due to personal use).
We may be biased, but we think this is the best place on the river ;)
#1 Feature: DIRECTLY ON THE CLEAR WATERS OF THE WEEKI WACHEE RIVER
We are directly on the crystal clear waters of the Weeki Wachee River! And we're literally 3 river bends down river from Roger's Park and just up river from the famous "Hospital Hole" where the manatees congregate in droves. We are far enough down river that you are more likely to see manatees swim right by the house than most other properties... quite frequently actually! There's even a nice wide step-out area on the river to get into the water for swimming or kayaking or boating - directly from the back yard.
I am often asked if the water is clear where we are. Yes! The water is definitely crystal clear. The bottom is not white sand like further up river, but when a dolphin or manatee swim by, you can see them clear as day. I was literally swimming and cooling off while working outside and a manatee came right up to me. I could see it's face in the water from 10 feet away and then it swam right under me rubbing my feet! Shortly after, a dolphin swam by as well... still amazes me to watch dolphins and manatees swim by the back yard.
#2 Feature: NEWLY BUILT HOME ON THE RIVER
This is one of those rare newly built houses on the river, but it's not just a more modern build. This house was built with luxuries, like the granite in the kitchen was imported from Italy... yeah literally imported from Italy. There's a 3rd story master bedroom suite with an outside balcony - the views from up here are spectacular! The two bedroom on the second floor both have balconies. The second floor balcony is big enough for everyone The multiple balconies make it easy to spot the manatees swimming below, or sit back at sunset and watching the sky light up like a canvas. We've watched a family of deer cross the river right in front of our kayaks - what a treat that was! We've sat and enjoyed river otters playing with each other like little kids. If you're lucky, you'll even spot an occasional dolphin enjoying the river... there's just something special about watching a dolphin swim right in front of the house. There are vast species of birds, like the wood storks, blue herons, egrets, bald eagles, ospreys, double-crested cormorant, but that's just the tip of the ice bird... the bird diversity is phenomenal with 273 native and 8 exotic species in the area.

#1 Feature: DIRECTLY ON THE CLEAR WATERS OF THE WEEKI WACHEE RIVER
We are directly on the crystal clear waters of the Weeki Wachee River! And we're literally 3 river bends down river from Roger's Park and just up river from the famous "Hospital Hole" where the manatees congregate in droves. We are far enough down river that you are more likely to see manatees swim right by the house than most other properties... quite frequently actually! There's even a nice wide step-out area on the river to get into the water for swimming or kayaking or boating - directly from the back yard.
I am often asked if the water is clear where we are. Yes! The water is definitely crystal clear. The bottom is not white sand like further up river, but when a dolphin or manatee swim by, you can see them clear as day. I was literally swimming and cooling off while working outside and a manatee came right up to me. I could see it's face in the water from 10 feet away and then it swam right under me rubbing my feet! Shortly after, a dolphin swam by as well... still amazes me to watch dolphins and manatees swim by the back yard.
#2 Feature: NEWLY BUILT HOME ON THE RIVER
This is one of those rare newly built houses on the river, but it's not just a more modern build. This house was built with luxuries, like the granite in the kitchen was imported from Italy... yeah literally imported from Italy. There's a 3rd story master bedroom suite with an outside balcony - the views from up here are spectacular! The two bedroom on the second floor both have balconies. The second floor balcony is big enough for everyone The multiple balconies make it easy to spot the manatees swimming below, or sit back at sunset and watching the sky light up like a canvas. SITTINGS: Dining Room sits 8. Living room table sits 12. Breakfast area sits 4-6. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a small desk and chair. Outdoor screened patio has a dining table that sits 10. Grill outdoor and embrace the ocean breeze. All rooms face the ocean and pool except the kids bedroom.
BEDDINGS: This Oasis has 3 bedrooms and an office bedroom. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed (sleeps 2), and a full-size futon (sleeps 1). There is a large TV on the wall in the bedroom. It has a private bathroom with an enlarged standing shower room. The master bedroom has direct access to screened patio and pool by the gulf. The 2nd master bedroom (sleeps 2) has a King bed, and a baby bed, opening to a patio door to the fenced yard, which has a hammock and fireplace sitting by the gulf. This bedroom room has its own TV. The 3rd bedroom (sleeps 5) has a bunker bed with two full sizes beds, and a twin pull out trundle bed. The office room has a king size bed. ADDTIONAL FEES
- Pool heating is additional $30/day upon guest request. Pool heater is usually on between 10am - 6pm when pump is on.
- IF your guests are more than what is registered in your reservation, there will be additional $20 per guest per night fee. No more than 12 guests can be accommodated at Oasis.
- Guests are to keep kitchen equipments clean to avoid extra cleaning fees.
- We charge $30/each to replace missing towels or pillows.
- We provide environmental wood logs at $5/log and each log lasts several hours.
- IF your booking is one night only, there will be a $100 surcharge fee due prior access code is provided.

SITTINGS: Dining Room sits 8. Living room table sits 12. Breakfast area sits 4-6. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a small desk and chair. Outdoor screened patio has a dining table that sits 10. Grill outdoor and embrace the ocean breeze. All rooms face the ocean and pool except the kids bedroom.
BEDDINGS: This Oasis has 3 bedrooms and an office bedroom. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed (sleeps 2), and a full-size futon (sleeps 1). There is a large TV on the wall in the bedroom. It has a private bathroom with an enlarged standing shower room. The master bedroom has direct access to screened patio and pool by the gulf. The 2nd master bedroom (sleeps 2) has a King bed, and a baby bed, opening to a patio door to the fenced yard, which has a hammock and fireplace sitting by the gulf. This bedroom room has its own TV. The 3rd bedroom (sleeps 5) has a bunker bed with two full sizes beds, and a twin pull out trundle bed. The office room has a king size bed. Its wall is not built all the way up to the vaulted ceiling.total of 10 guests only
garage has 2 adults bikes, and 2 child bikes, and three kayaks. The larger kayaks are for 2 adults. The two smaller ones are for 1 adult only.
DRIVEWAY: Driveway is meant for 4 cars, but could crowd in 4 cars when parked a bit onto the yard.
ADDTIONAL FEES
- Pool heating is additional $30/day upon guest request. Pool heater is usually on between 10am - 6pm when pump is on.
- IF your guests are more than what is registered in your reservation, there will be additional $20 per guest per night fee. No more than 12 guests can be accommodated at Oasis.
- Guests are to keep kitchen equipments clean to avoid extra cleaning fees.
- We charge $30/each to replace missing towels or pillows.
- We provide environmental wood logs at $5/log and each log lasts several hours.
- IF your booking is one night only, there will be a $100 surcharge fee due prior access code is provided.
- Oasis welcomes pets, $100/pet one-time fee. (For pet free home, check our Seascape house and Palm Creek house located a few minutes away!)

Come experience old Florida at its finest, where the only worry you have is your flip flops! Our backyard is a beautiful, flowing spring water canal, which you can hang out beside in the morning to be greeted by our native manatee and turtle residents. Grab a pole and fish off the dock or jump in the kayaks, and in just a few minutes you will be in the main spring enjoying all the action. If you want to see more of the gulf, there are plenty of places to rent a boat and run over to the sandbar for the day. We are just a quick jaunt to Rogers Beach and Hospital Hole. There are numerous places around for food and fun including: the world famous mermaids of Weeki Wachee! Enjoy your stay with all the amenities you need to be at home, away from home. There are 2 bedrooms and a queen fold out couch. There is a fire pit on the dock and a screened gazebo towing the river. Stay a while, the water’s fine and it’s always 5 o’clock!

Lanai has lots of gathering space with loungers, dining tables and a gas grill. We have kayaks, life vests and paddles to explore the beautiful clear springs and watch the manatees. Yard is completely fenced. The docks, pool, lanai and entire house is for you and your family to enjoy privately. Only eco-friendly pest control products are professionally applied. We are trying to provide our guests with a carefree, healthy environment so they can concentrate on rest and relaxation. Our home comes with a fully equipped updated kitchen, all linens, towels, shampoo and soap, and even beach towels. Just about anything you would normally use in your home. Two flat screen TV's, and high speed internet.
There is on site parking for your boat trailer. The boat launch is less that 1 mile away at Rogers Park which also has a sandy beach.
Our home is on a 100 ft waterfront bulkhead located on a deep canal with direct access to the Weeki Wachee river and only 20 minute idle to the gulf. 7 minute car ride to the Pine Island Beach to watch beautiful sunsets.
There is an abundance of local waterfront restaurants that afford plenty of opportunity to cater to just about every taste. If this property is unavailable during the time you hoped, I have other Weeki Wachee vacation homes that might fit your needs.
