"To be honest I don't really understand where those bad reviews came from. The location is very convenient, 10 mins drive from the airport and free airport shuttle is running every 30mins till 11:30pm (I took the last bus). Hotel is dated but it is very well maintained and clean. Theres also a small grocery store and a very nice little Japanese restaurant nearby - bonus point. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Happy hour at the restaurant was such a good deal too."

Het hotel is ook superhandig gelegen, direct naast de SkyTrain, waardoor je gemakkelijk naar het centrum of de luchthaven kunt reizen."

"Ik had een verblijf van 3 nachten in het hotel geboekt. Op mijn eerste avond checkte ik in op mijn kamer, die uitkeek op Beatty Street met uitzicht op BC Place. Er was een t****aags concert aan de gang tot 23:00 uur. Ik belde de receptie en vroeg of ik van kamer kon wisselen, maar helaas waren alle kamers volgeboekt. De volgende dag werd ik gebeld door de receptie en ze waren zo vriendelijk om me een andere kamer aan te bieden voor de rest van mijn verblijf, weg van de hoofdstraat waar het concert plaatsvond. Al met al een geweldige locatie voor het hotel, midden in het stadscentrum met veel restaurants en winkels."

"We love the water slide. The hotel has everything you need besides restaurant connect to it only provide lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we have to go Danny’s nearby. The facilities are good if you consider it as an airport hotel. There are swimming pool and gym. Water slide in swimming pool is our favourite. I recommend who has kids to go! It’s fun!"

"I’d recommend this hotel if you have business or errands near the airport. The hotel is very clean, and the shuttle service is convenient and well organized, which makes getting around easy. It’s also quiet, so it’s a good place to rest. That said, I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast — the options are quite limited and not worth it."

"It’s location within a few mins walk to metro station Waterfront and cruise terminal Canada Place is excellent for those planning to visiting Vancouver and taking the Alaska cruise. They have a great pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. The room is clean and spacious. We stayed in one bedroom (with two double beds) suite with dining table and a large couch. It was a very nice stay for us."

"I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result."

"Location is good. It is relatively close to the sky train and restaurants. However, the walls are thin and we can hear our neighbors walking and faucet running. The building is old with some renovations done. Could improve on the shower pressure and the air condition fan was noisy. The description on our room was “courtyard view” but I got the view of the roof with some air units and rain water. Staff at the front desk was courteous. I think parking should have been included."

"The walls were thin, and the planes were loud, but overall, it was a nice place to stay. There were many restaurants and it was close to the airport, which we wanted. The staff were also nice and we had no major problems."

"- located in a vantage point that is very close to all conveniences, such as Walmart, supermarkets and restaurants; - nice and comfortable apartment that commands a lovely view of Vancouver downtown; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - very comfortable mattresses and duvets;You are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack; - a wonderful indoor pool!
