Een van de beste dingen is het binnenzwembad met een leuke waterglijbaan waar zowel kinderen als volwassenen van genieten. Er is ook een grote hottub, perfect om te ontspannen na een lange dag. De lobby is prachtig en gastvrij, met watervallen en comfortabele zitjes. De service is uitstekend. Het personeel is vriendelijk, behulpzaam en staat altijd klaar om je te helpen met alles wat je nodig hebt. Vanaf het moment dat je binnenkomt, voel je je goed verzorgd. Het hotel is ook superhandig gelegen, direct naast de SkyTrain, waardoor je gemakkelijk naar het centrum of de luchthaven kunt reizen."

"Location is good. It is relatively close to the sky train and restaurants. However, the walls are thin and we can hear our neighbors walking and faucet running. The building is old with some renovations done. Could improve on the shower pressure and the air condition fan was noisy. The description on our room was “courtyard view” but I got the view of the roof with some air units and rain water. Staff at the front desk was courteous. I think parking should have been included."

"Perfect for a long layover, the Sandman hotel provides complimentary airport pickup and drop off in 15 minutes intervals. The receptionist was very friendly, he upgraded my room to a loft style, the room was spacious and nicely decorated. One thing that was little disturbing is the noise from the air conditioner."

"I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result."

"Beautiful view and nice staff We arrive far earlier than the expected check in time but the staff still being helpful to get us a room with good views, and the room is tidy. Staff who clean the room(on the 4th floor) every morning is nice and welcoming too, wish her a good one"

"We passed by this hotel hundreds times and we finally spent 2 nights celebrating our 45th anniversary there.the service was excellent,lots of cool characters everywhere inside and you got the real key to your room.The parking garage was well lit and safe.we will go back again this summer 👍❤️❤️❤️👍"

"Hotel a bit outdated, soundproofing not very good. But apart from that, everything went well, location is in a safe and convenient place for public transpo. Cozy room. Only wish 2 things were available: slippers (bec the floor becomes very cold) and drinking water."

"Best location in downtown. Right next to the hotel is Tim Hortons and McDonald’s. There is also a highly rated Mr.Schwarma food truck. 2 blocks from the hotel, on Hasting Street, there is a very good place for pizza called Nightingale. For transit, Burrard Station is right next door. Vancouver City Centre Station is within comfortable distance. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Vancouver next time!"

"We love the water slide. The hotel has everything you need besides restaurant connect to it only provide lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we have to go Danny’s nearby. The facilities are good if you consider it as an airport hotel. There are swimming pool and gym. Water slide in swimming pool is our favourite. I recommend who has kids to go! It’s fun!"
