"We stayed at Travelodge Grantham South Witham for one night while travelling between places. I’ve stayed at Travelodges before, and this was one of the worst- and I’m not even talking about it being old and dated. The room was filthy. The bathroom was dirty, with black mould streaming from the shower when you turned it on, so I had to wait for it to clear. There was no soap in the dispenser by the sink. The toilet had yellow stains under the seat. The bedding looked fresh but had stains on it, which was disgusting. I know it’s a budget stay, but I’d still expect the room to be clean. There was also no hairdryer in the room, which you’d think would be a near-minimum nowadays. One word: disgusting. Stay somewhere else if you can."

"Very nice night, receptionist even let us have extra biscuits and made sure everything was okay for us ! only downside is that we wanted to stay 1-2 hours extra after checkout for the pool which cost £30. We will be back"

"We hadden het genoegen om vorig weekend op de Archway te blijven. Als een familie van 5 is het echt uitdagende om hotels te vinden die ons allemaal in dezelfde kamer kunnen overnachten. Als je eindelijk familiegereedschappen ontmoeten, zijn ze meestal zeer gespannen. Niet op de Archway- de familiekamer bestaat uit twee kamers: een met een koningin bed en een eenpersoonsbed, die perfect was voor onze jongste en een aparte kamer met twee bedden, bezet door onze jonge kinderen. Het was een onverwachte waarde voor geld... de kosten per persoon waren onder £25!"

"We had our wedding at this beautiful Jacobian Manor House! The gardens are stunning and well kept and the decor and furnishings of the indoor property are just so beautifully done and well restored to be in keeping with the age of the house. We hired the rooms the night before my wedding for my bridal party. Each room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The hosts and owners of the property. Leo and Amy along with their day of wedding coordinator Lesley were nothing short of amazing and accommodated our every need at a reasonable price and to a high standard. They were both so intrapersonal and really took the stress out of everything. I recommend hire of this property for anybody who wants an elegant, smaller wedding. "

"Hotel was advertised very wrongful as ,location is OK, but Bar below with very dirty rooms, smell of urine, alcohol and a room with common/ detached bath rooms , we just entered at 1st floor after payment and returned back to ground floor in next 5 minutes. Very very dirty rooms, in fact don't need to put on *********** or trip.com. We changed our mind ,booked room in Premier Inn, 1.5 miles away at a price difference of only 5 pounds and hell of difference in amenities. They refused to return/ refund any money, even not 50% , rather threatened me to leave the hotel/ bar quickly/ quietly. I never imagined I am in UK 🇬🇧 hotels, rather a backward country, for just 50 pounds they were so furious, in the end I never ever recommend anyone to stay there ,in same price you will get Room in Premier Inn,travelogue nearby with attached bathroom."

"If I'm honest this hotel was not great value for money. The room was small, not very clean, bed was uncomfortable and smelt musty (I know they make a big thing about being a hotel/inn since 1203 - but I don't want the smell from that era as well). I have stayed here previously and it was much better (or at least the room I was in was better). So I will not being staying here in the future"

"Gezellig verblijf personeel helpend en vriendelijk kamer gezellig douche een beetje als niet genoeg handdoeken in de badkamer. Niet zo goedkoop als het gewoon was om te denken dat ze bedoeld waren om een budget hotel (ja, ik realiseer me dat als gevolg van de begrotingswijzigingen de kosten zijn opgelopen voor personeel, enz. U kunt een B&B van een soortgelijke standaard krijgen met een ontbijt inbegrepen voor soortgelijke kosten."
