Op de straat zo dicht bij alle winkels en restaurants. Zeer dicht bij Guildford waar veel te doen is, het museum van het platteland, het boerderij."

"We had the room with the king size bed and bunk beds. Only one night. It was comfortable and reasonably clean, but of dust here and there and one of the towels was dirty. Tiny doors and stairs, especially up to the bathroom. Due to the quirky head heights the mirror was at waist level. Breakfast was continental but very nice. Easy to park and the town is so lovely."

"Alles goed, behalve een paar dingen: - Ik wist niet dat de betaling voor de twee kamers 10 dagen voordat we incheckten werd genomen. ...(op de boeking zei het 'betaal in het hotel'). - in het op het dinermenu aangeboden "vastgestelde prijsmenu" moet worden vermeld "alleen maandag tot donderdag beschikbaar". - Bij het terugkeeren beloofde mijn boekingsbevestiging een complimentaire fles Tilford ale... geen teken van dat in onze kamer."

"De dienst was onschuldig en we waardeerden echt hoe vriendelijk en opmerkzaam het personeel was. Helaas waren we een paar dingen minder blij met - het ontbijt was een grote teleurstelling. Het kwam en dat normale reactie van ‘oh dat mooi kijkt’ was in plaats daarvan een zeer grote ‘meh’. Twee van de kleinste dunne stukken toast die de mens bekend was, hielp niet. We waren zeer ondergewikkeld. Het was zeer grijs. Als u thuis een mooier ontbijt kunt koken - blijf thuis! Het andere probleem was geen warm water of druk voor de douche - dat we niet vermelden, omdat we waarderen hoe oud het gebouw is en we de badkamer in plaats daarvan vulden. Een kleinere punt maar een half een loo roll is gewoon een beetje gemiddeld. We krijgen de gastenindustrie kan vechten, maar zeker kunt u ons een volledige loo roll (& een paar stukken toast!) geven."

"The setting is beautiful and the perfect place to relax with friends. I asked for boules for the boules pit and they found them, meaning we could have a lovely relaxing day on the lawn. The only thing I felt was that as we had arrived the day after a wedding, maybe they need to employ more people to clean the rooms knowing how busy they would be. Also have more people on the desk for checkout after a wedding."

"Having given the owner of this awful place plenty of time to issue a refund…several months in fact….I have taken to writing a bad review. This place was terrible… nobody here when we arrived, owner and his son finally turned up they were rude and had clearly been drinking!! Not an issue except the owner was driving! Shown to room it was filthy with stuff left from previous guests, dusty and needed updating. Breakfast only available to owners convenience and had to share a bathroom which is not great. Felt like we had moved into a house share rather than booking a relaxing night away! Have requested refund multiple times including in person before we left but didn’t argue our point as there were several of the sons mates there and we felt threatened! All emails ignored! Needless to say would never stay again and would advise anyone else to avoid!!"
