"We spent our sixt holiday in Domaine de Nazère, with Antoine et Valérie. We are abolutely thrilled about this accommodation, that has it all : the large state of the art rooms, with all the luxury you can dream of and that are very well kept, the splendid table d'hôtes for diner and breakfast with great food and beverages (professional level), the most beautiful location with a very nice swimming pool with comfortable lounge beds for all the guests, possiblities for tennis, putting, petanque, rental of bicycles, walking and lounges in the Domaine, and not at least the great service of Antoine and Valérie, who both are eager to make a holiday free of sorrow and take care of everything one might wish for! Nous venons de passer notre sixième période de vacances à Domaine de Nazère, chez Valérie et Antoine. Nous sommes absolument ravis au sujet de accommodation, qui a vraiment tout : les grandes chambres luxueuses "state of the art", parfaitement tenues, la table d'hôte pour un petit déjeuner et diner à laquelle nous avons été servi de merveilleux plats et vins, préparés à un niveau professionel, la location splendide avec une superbe piscine avec des lits comfortables pour tous les hôtes, tennis, putting, pétanque, location de vélos, de grandes promenades dans un merveilleux domaine, et le superbe service de Valérie et Antoine qui font tout ce qu'on pourrait souhaiter pour rendre les vacances sans soucis, et inoubliables ! "Seemingly the last room available, it was sold (over 100 Euros) as a superior room! It was two single beds (only one pillow each so glad it was just me) and was on the front of the hotel with the window about 3' from every passing truck. I have (sadly) spent 30 years staying in hotels for work and this was the worst night's sleep I've had in all that time. The road outside is incredibly busy so sleep was just not an option. Also, there was nowhere to hang clothes at all, the desk light didn't work and if there was any hope of dozing off through exhaustion, anybody else having a shower on that side of the building made it sound like my bathroom was going to flood with the sound of water. Never again."

"RUDE! No manners. Tried to have lunch there today and the older gentleman was very rude and dismissive. Another French couple was behind us and he was just as rude to them. Walked across to the cafe and the lady was extremely helpful and kind!!"

"We are writing to inform Tripadvisor readers of 4 things about Chateau Bellevue: 1) Charlotte's cooking is exceptionally good The restaurant was full or almost full every night, and most of the customers were French. Everyone seemed to be having a lovely time 2) We ate a la carte as well as on the demi-pension menu. For 7 consecutive nights we had the demi-pension menu and we never had the same dishes served up again. So unlike some previous reviews, we would say that it is entirely reasonable to dine here for many nights and NOT get bored with the food. In fact the only problem is that some of the dishes served up were so good that we were dying for them to be served up again. 3) The Chateau is beautifully kept with a lovely terrace and swimming pool. The room was perfectly comfortable. 4) All the staff are fantastic and try so hard to keep you happy . Emilie ,Thomas and Charlotte run Chateau Bellevue as a family concern and it truly shows . They are dedicated to the place and this gives the whole establishment a very bespoke and welcoming touch. We are writing a series of Travel books , and they made time from their very busy schedule to talk to us about Gascony, France , cooking and the intricacies of running a hotel-restaurant in 2025. This will be very helpful for the books and we are most grateful. Path and Anne"

"We zijn 1 nacht verbleven begin juli en hebben ontbijt bij de Black Beets en gegeten in de Table de JP Tossens. Bedankt voor uw gastvrijheid. Een zachte parentese in een vredeshaven. Wat een prachtig kader! Alles is mooi en aardig. La décoration soigneuse, l'authenticité préservée... Coté restauration : tout est délicieux et raffiné. Bref je recommander et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir Florence R."

"We hebben een nacht doorgebracht met een wonderbox. Zeer goed ontvangen , de kamer was schoon. Het eten was zeer goed(met producten uit de hoek)en dessert. Koppig ontbijt. Geen gastvrij en vriendelijk, wordt sterk aanbevolen. Nogmaals bedankt."
