"For a one- or two-star hotel, you can't expect more than what I found. However, I must say two stars for the price, including breakfast, is acceptable. Since the location is very central, I think this hotel offers very good value for money; it's not for people expecting comfort and luxury. The staff is very courteous and friendly."

"Het hotel is een mooie familie, de hotelhouder, Serap, een lachwekkende, en de enige gasten die erbij betrokken zijn. Het ontbijt was geweldig, de producten waren zeer goede en als je het wilt, ze brengen het terug van het einde. Het hotel is in een prachtige locatie, met de blauwe vlag Nieuwfoca, vlakbij het strand, onder een winkel, eigen koffiewinkels en koffiekoffie. Het uitzicht is geweldig, zoals de kamer van de kapitein, en we gingen naar de commentaar, er zijn meer dan de mooie commentaar die we lezen, er is niets ontbreken, we danken je nogmaals voor alles, het is een hotel dat we graag terug willen komen."

"We (our family of 4) stayed at Iyon Pansiyon at the end of July 2023 in Room 10 (the biggest room available). Room size was ideal for our family, and space had exactly what we needed. Location was great, just 1 block away from the sea, which was great to avoid any noise from the exciting waterfront. Service and hospitality was great, including the morning breakfast. Although we tried to speak a bit of Turkish, they were great to serve us in English, which made our stay easier. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this place to others. "

Het centrum ligt op loopafstand en de wandeling ernaartoe is absoluut de moeite waard: een prachtige route langs de zee, met volop rust en een schitterend uitzicht. Echt een aanrader!"

"You can find the breathtaking view of this balcony in many places, what you cannot find is the smiles and the hospitality you get from the owner and the staff of this family business when delivering your breakfast to enjoy at your room or the five-star service you get even at the time of booking. I was picked up from Izmir by the owner himself who was a great guide at the same time. I was amazed to see him around working along his staff, treating them as family and they made me feel a valuable guest of this family. I know that I will be visiting Foca often after this great experience, needless to say, to stay at Midilli Konak, as the stone stays at the centre of Foca which is just ten minutes of walk by the sea. I was listening to Sezen Aksu on the way back who was signing 'I left my heart in the Aegean' and I was wondering if she left it at Foca, because that's where mine stayed when I left."
