"The Flåm Marina and Apartments in picture perfect Flåm is for me a quaint dreamy get away into the cradle of nature. Getting off the Flåmsbana, you first soak in the 360 degree view of the place all around you. Then you start walking around the edge of the water via the well thought out boardwalk and keep moving as you absorb the vista around you. In about seven to eight minutes, you will be at the side of the Flåm Marina Hotel & Apartments. The White cabins, placed right on the water and floating on it ,are a sight to behold, against the backdrop of the serene, brooding mountain behind. The stillness of the water, the occasional flipping of a water creature and the silence all around engulfs you. You walk around the back of the building to enter the reception area , which is housed along with the restaurant overlooking the Fjord. The rooms are beautifully laid out, with a cozy bedroom and a sitting area with sofa and TV and a terrace opening out on the waterfront. Some rooms have kitchenette , making it convenient, if you want to rustle up some dishes with local stuff like Salmon. Ofcourse you can also eat your regular meals in the restaurant, where you will likely have your breakfast in any case. You can sit on the terrace and watch the day glide by along with the low hanging clouds which make it a point to glide ever so slowly over the Fjord water. Seems, they also don’t want to leave Flåm in a hurry."

"De "Vikingkamer" verwijst naar een kamer met houten decoraties aan de muren. Er zitten twee ramen in het dak, dus slapen is geen optie, haha. De badkamerartikelen en het beddengoed zijn gemiddeld. Het ontbijt is goed en het landschap eromheen is fantastisch."

"Dit hotel ligt direct aan de rand van het fjord, waardoor er extra grote schepen kunnen aanmeren. Sommige cruisepassagiers ankeren hier (het schip dat wij die dag zagen kwam uit Duitsland) en huren dan een auto om de nabijgelegen waterval te gaan bekijken. Nadat u van de boot bent gestapt, kunt u bij reisbureaus terecht voor informatie over toeristische attracties in de buurt."

"Close to train station, the view is great. You may consider arranging hiking or biking nearby. Facilities are a bit worn out, there is water leakage around the toilet and short electrical supply instability. There is dinner buffet but quite expensive. Staff is nice but A bit overpriced overall."

"Het was een vrij nieuw resort naast het skicentrum Lang wachten bij het inchecken omdat er alleen 20 minuten aan de telefoon was. Eindelijk hulp gekregen van de servicebalie naast ons. Uitstekende service van ober en serveerster in het restaurant. Ik wil hier zeker nog een keer verblijven."
