Casaforte la Bastide

"Casaforte La Bastide is a beautifully restored medieval home set in the lovely countryside just outside Ferrara. It is an ideal place to stay while visiting Ferrara. What better way to discover the historical city than stay in a historical mansion? The mansion retains much of its original medieval structure while being tastefully decorated with antique furniture which enhance the ambiance all the while providing very modern comforts. We stayed in the Secret Suite which was large, warm and very characteristic. The bed, pillows and blankets were extremely comfortable, allowing for a good night's rest. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the dining hall. An abundant breakfast was prepared for us by Thomas which included eggs, fresh pastries, bread, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese and biscuits. There was a ample selection of tea, coffee and juice. As amazing as the location was, what made the stay even more incredible was the hospitality of the owners and of Thomas. They really made us feel at home!"

"Uitstekend gelegen dicht bij de Duomo. De kamers zijn gezellig en schoon, met een rustige straat. De gast spreekt goed Engels, en hij is zeer aardig en zeer geduldig. Hij heeft veel informatie over toeristische attracties en plaatsen te zien gedeeld. Het hotel biedt een uitstekende ontbijt voor elke gast in een geweldige eetkamer (zie foto's)."

"The hotel has 3 stars and a lot of effort has been put into surpassing its category. The location is excellent, 2 km from the center, in the immediate vicinity of a large shopping center. Parking is provided and included in the price, and in a short time you can reach a large public parking lot next to the historic city center. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioner works flawlessly. The breakfast is fine, with my comments about the Italian breakfast that the offer of sweet things prevails over the savoury. . We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant, both the food and the service were excellent. Complaints are that some workers at the reception barely understand and speak English, as well as that the breakfast is used up faster than it is replenished, so if you arrive late, half of the offer will no longer be available. The friendliness of the staff, family atmosphere and good location will make me recommend the hotel to other travelers."

"Een comfortabele locatie in het centrum. Erg aardig gentleman ontmoette ons en was een gast. Hij maakte een heerlijke cappuccino voor ontbijt. Het ontbijt is vrij weinig, maar vriendelijk. De kamer is in grootte vrij aanvaardbaar, heeft twee afzonderlijke bedden, maar ze zijn smalle, een slaap. In de nacht moet u voorzichtig zijn om niet te vallen. De matroos is comfortabel, en de pijpen voor mij zijn zeer dicht (Er is de tweede set van pijpen in de kluis, ze zijn dezelfde dichtheid) Er is een lift in het hotel, wat ook belangrijk is. Op de muren zijn er verschillende schattige schilderijen, en in de hal voor ontbijtverzameling van foto's van krantenkiosken - fascinerende kijken naar hen. Hotel is vrij moe, maar probeert gasten te vermaken in de mate van hun mogelijkheden"

"Ik ben echt beïnvloed door de kwaliteit van de plaats: een gezellige omgeving, een algemeen professioneel personeel en een dienst die volledig verdient om te worden geadviseerd. Helaas heb ik tijdens mijn ervaring een exploitant getroffen die mij op een werkelijk onaanvaardbare manier behandelde, met een houding die volledig in de top van de ruimte stond. Gelukkig heb ik het rechtstreeks met de verantwoordelijke kunnen bespreken, die ik heb gerapporteerd en ik heb geadviseerd om serieus te beoordelen wat dit personeelslid doet, juist om de goede normen die de baan aan alle klanten biedt te beschermen. Ik hoop dat het management het best kan doen, want de rest van de ervaring is echt onbeleefd geweest, maar ik raad de plaats zeer sterk: het verdient het echt."

"Uitzonderlijke locatie, binnen- en beschermde parkeerplaats, zeer vriendelijk personeel, ruime en schone kamer, discreet ontbijt. Een paar kleine details te regelen (de verbruiksgoeden die op een aantal meubels of naast de muren zijn gemaakt, maar het zijn eigenlijk kleine details)."

"Onbegrijpelijk waarom dit hotel zo hoog scoort. Kleine kamers, airco die de kamer niet gekoeld krijgt, harde bedden waar je de veren door voelt steken. Bijzonder luidruchtig zowel overdag als ‘s nachts. En hoewel we een rustige kamer hadden gevraagd kregen we er een op de eerste verdieping net naast de lift!!!! Alleen de ligging is gunstig en de parking (hoewel die ook zeker niet geschikt is voor grote wagens). Jammer!"

"Recht voor het Ferrara Castle met een ruime kamer en toilet groot genoeg voor paren en reizigers met kinderen. Omgeven door bars en restaurants en alle toeristische diensten die de stad kan bieden. Hoewel het hotel deel uitmaakt van een verkeersbeperkte zone, staat de stad de reizigers in staat bagage op hun auto te lossen en opnieuw te laden met een vrijstelling zolang u het bijbehorende formulier in het hotel invullen."
