"It is a hostel with shared rooms, but it has a double room with a bathroom in the room we stayed in. Spacious, bright, with a large terrace. It has details that are appreciated (they leave you water, local liquor, apples and chocolates). I would miss a refrigerator. It is very central in the historic center, the bathroom is spacious and has everything you need. The 2 girls at the reception we met were very nice and willing to help. I would eliminate the cow rug on the floor, the colorful blanket and the cushions on the bed, which I see as a bit unhygienic in times of current epidemics and plagues. The price is somewhat expensive for what it offers, but in line with what can be found in Evora. We would repeat if we return to the city"

The heated floor in the bathroom is really a plus. The cherry on top are the drinks and little chips for free included in the room! We stayed for one night but we are planning to come back."

"I thought the double bed was very small, I didn't expect to give a big double bed, and arranged a small bed! The location is excellent, just next to the Roman Temple, three minutes walk to the cathedral, 9 minutes to the human bone church!"

"Van de drie Vila Galé hotels die we deze reis bezocht hebben was dit de meest moderne. Twee zwembaden, waarvan een officieel voor adults, maar daar controleert niemand op. Zwembaden onverwarmd, zoals gebruikelijk lijkt in Portugal. Ontbijt was prima, maar vooral voor vegetariërs erg basic. Wel elke dag vers fruit en iemand die eitjes bakt. Ongezellige bar, locatie geweldig vlakbij het centrum van Evora. Gratis voor de deur parkeren als je geluk hebt."

"I have booked this hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary. This hotel is one of the spa hotels in this area. Main reason we choose this hotel is for their spa facilities. Few days before our arrival my wife made a reservation for massage. You would think during this phone call to their spa it would be a great chance to say that actually our indoor pool and jacuzzi is under renovation. We'll we found out about it during our check in. To be fair turkish sauna and regular sauna was not under renovation, but it should have been. Turkish sauna has small tiles falling of and laying on the floor. There is also a rusty remnant of a pipe where steam used to come out. So I will definitely not recommend this hotel for its Spa facilities. Not in a near future anyway. Stuff was nice and hotel is in great location though."

Het Aardappelrestaurant Flower is het perfecte aanvulling: heerlijke, goed gepresenteerde gerechten en vol smaak, gemaakt van verse en uitstekende kwaliteit ingrediënten. Ik onderstreep de zorg in de dienst en de aangename omgeving, ideaal voor een gezinsmaaltijd en speciale momenten. Ik beveel het! Ik zal zeker terugkomen. 🌿🍷✨"

"Casa do Governador is een honderdjarige woning met ongeveer 28 hectare in een ecologisch reservegebied op slechts 3 km van het centrum van Evora. We woonden in het hoofdwoning, hoewel er ook een villa beschikbaar is aan de oostkant van het gebouw. Onze kamer was ruime, licht en luchtig. De badkamer was uitstekend met een ruime douche. Er zijn 2 prachtige zwembaden in een gras gebied aan de ene kant van de wijngaard met veel zonnebedden beschikbaar. Het ontbijt is uitstekend met vers fruit en vers fruitsap diende grote gemeentetafel. Eieren worden aangeboden en gekookt om te bestellen. We eten op een eerste avond die mooi gekookt en geserveerd was. Personeel is vriendelijk, professioneel en handig."
