"Een goed hotel van de B&B-groep, op een toplocatie in het voetgangersgebied. Inchecken kan soms lastig zijn, omdat de receptie niet altijd bemand is en de incheckautomaat soms problemen geeft. Voor toegang tot de kamers is een code vereist."

"To start with, an excellent location, within walking distance of the centre. The hotel has 2 parking spaces: 1 at the hotel and 1 across the street. These are free for overnight guests. The hotel does not have a restaurant (but it does have an excellent breakfast buffet at a very reasonable rate!). There is a restaurant right next to the hotel, but there are plenty of dining options within a fifteen-minute walk. I thought the room was excellent. Good mattress, safe, minibar (free soft drinks and beer). There was also little wrong with the bathroom. In fact: finally a hotel where the placement of the (very good) shaving mirror and the toilet roll holder has been carefully considered. Attention to detail!. The reception staff are helpful. Also pleasant was the option to check in or out early or late for a very reasonable fee. In short, an excellent stay!"

"Hotel "Deutsches Haus" ligt midden in het centrum van Emden. De kamer is ruim en schoon. Onze kamer is gerenoveerd. Het ontbijt is gevarieerd en er ontbreekt niets. De parkeerplaats bij het hotel is ruim, en daar waren we erg blij mee, hoewel deze lastig bereikbaar is. Helaas is de receptie maar beperkt geopend."

"The hotel is OK. The hotel's check-in reception is located 2 houses further in the Hotel Upsatalsboom. There can also be the bikes placed in a garage. However, there is no charge possibility for ebikes. The bike bags can be carried from the garage to the hotel. They are just a few meters."
