"Arrived on a Sunday key is in a safe box by the front door. Reception work 10 -2 Monday to Saturday. Very helpful and friendly staff. Our studio was on the first floor , via stairs and lift, at the rear facing the village and across to the old harbour. With a decent size balcony looking out accriss to opposite apartments Large clean and comfortable. Nearly everything is provided even mop and broom. Washing up liquid, sponge, and clothes. No oven, the combination microwave has no removable shelf, so the grill section can't really be used. The bath is of a normal size, but the water heater only supplied enough hot water for half a bath, and then you wait for it to heat up to fill the bath up. Television is small and spanish channels only. No room safe. They don't tell you until you read the notice in the room about the intermittent building work between 10 and 4 at the rear of the building. We were lucky in the 2 weeks no work was done. During certain wind conditions, there is a smell of sewage from the bathroom, which they know about. BE CAREFUL WITH THE HAIR DRYER SEE PICTURES The bed has an annoying squeak when you turn over. The one thing we found is the lack of an information sheet to tell you things like towel changes, bedding changes... they hang them on the outside of your door for you to do yourself , maybe it's their interpretation of independent holidays. The pool is absolutely freezing, and the steps in and out of it are loose, which they know about. The safety Lifebouy ring is hidden out of view, with no availability of cushions for the sunloungers. There is a paid launderette on the lower floor, and the rubbish bins are also down there, but again, no one tells you unless you ask. There is no cafe yet it's signed on the wall by reception. If you need a walk-in shower, ask when you book. To sum up, yes, i would go again. It's spacious, clean, comfortable, and a few tweaks it would achieve 10 out of 10 . I mark it as 9 ... until the new apartments are built behind the block."

"Goede locatie op een gemakkelijke wandelafstand van stranden en restaurants. Afhankelijk van uw kamer uitzicht, kunt u een expansie van afvallanden die worden gebruikt als een parkeerplaats met een paar woonwagens. Het complex heeft echter een comfortabele en veilige sfeer. De buitenruimte is goed onderhouden, hoewel er geen schaduw en de meubilair kan met een TLC. Superdino supermarkt aan de deur. Reine kamers. Goed uitgerust. Geen kamerservice. Een verandering van handdoeken en extra toiletrollen werden midden in de week buiten de appartementendeur achtergelaten. Douchedruk laag maar water warm genoeg om te douchen. Geen WIFI in de appartementen en geen internet in een gebied. Het contact opnemen met het personeel van de site om toegang te krijgen op de toegangs- en taalbarrière, hoewel ze hun best hebben geprobeerd en helpen."

"3 weken in Esmeralda Cotillo verbleven. Lacasa is overgenomen door Livvo. Prettig appartement op de begane grond aan de zijkant. Lekker rustig. Heerlijk terrasje met bedjes. Mooi appartement met alles erop en eraan. Prima wifi ( lekker streamen) Om de dag schoonmaak en handdoeken verschonen. Bed is geloof ik 4 a 5 keer verschoond. Super ligging, vlak bij het strand, restaurantjes in overvloed in de nabije omgeving. Supermarkt vlakbij. Supervriendelijk personeel allemaal van badjuf, receptionist(es) tot en met de schoonmaak(st)ers. Het klopt er zijn meerdere bouwwerkzaamheden bezig, tegenover, ernaast en een stukje verder. Dit wordt op de website van het hotel ook aangegeven. Dit heeft ons geen moment gestoord en hebben er dus zeker geen last van gehad. El Cotillo is een heerlijk rustig dorpje, lekker eten, rustig op een terrasje zitten, niets van druk dronken kroegleven Al met al een topper"

"Welcome to hell… Worst holiday ever! I work hard and look forward to my annual holiday. We have used Jet 2 Holidays many times but boy there has been nothing like this before. If you want to rest and relax, enjoy restaurants and like things to do, are coming on your own, as a couple or family; this is NOT the place for you…. It’s like a building site, woken by builders drilling doing piling works, electrics keeps going off, no places to eat out, looks like a wars zone, swimming pool freezing, it’s a dump! It’s only day 2 and looking forward to going home already!!! Do NOT come here."
