"Amazing spot! Right in the hub of all the life in Durango! Great parking. The hotel itself was part of the visits fun. We walked around one night looking for something to do, but around 8PM things tend to close down in Durango but it turns out the hotel had to fun we were looking for. We walked back to the hotel and heard lively ragtime piano music coming from the hotels connected saloon. We walked in, found a chair, and cheered along with the rest of the crowd enjoying the music and stories of Adam Swanson."

"I called ahead to say that we were gonna be late coming in and they said that the front desk would be open till 11. We got there at 10 o’clock and couldn’t find anybody in the office and couldn’t get to our room we had to stay at La Quinta and pay $305as an emergency could not reach anybody to respond to us for checking in."

"Ik kan me niet klachten over de prijs van dit hotel, maar het heeft niet voldaan aan de verwachtingen die ik had. Het is dicht bij een vrij drukke straat en niet alleen zijn de muren dun maar er zijn gaten in de deur dus ik hoorde elke keer dat een auto doorging met alle schokken die buiten gebeurden. Bovendien, de foto's die u op de website van de hotels en recensies ziet niet precies weergeven wat het hotel er persoonlijk uitziet. Het voelt alsof dit hotel werd geprobeerd te worden gerenoveerd en ergens in het midden gestopt."

The rooms are dark, and the furniture is old and from another era. Breakfast is meager and extremely basic. The prices are inflated, but that's probably because it's in Durango."

"New hotel downtown within walking distance to all the action. The room was good size for the two of us. Everyone was really friendly especially the person who worked at the breakfast. The only problem is that the cost was very high once taxes & fees (parking) were added on. Prior to check in cost was around $200 a night for standard but after checkout $300 (night)! My thinking (next time) would be to stay outside of downtown. For the price I paid a night there was a view of the hotel balcony next door and the irritating thing was hearing entry door(s) slam very loudly (all day/night) at nearby rooms. We tried our best to close our door slowly so not to disturb others. Note: from what I could determine it wasn't really the guests fault. The door has old style (slam) close that most hotels went away from but for some reason this Hilton gave it a go."
