"We had a bad experience. We had to wait all afternoon for them to give us a code to access the room. A wasted vacation afternoon. And they were so calm. They didn't even worry about the delay or compensate us in any way. And the worst part is that we returned to the same hotel later and the same thing happened to us! We contacted them beforehand so it wouldn't happen again, and it happened again. Incredible! Again without a sorry or compensation. It's never happened to us before. Very little professionalism and respect for customers. We're not the only ones this has happened to. They only work with email and don't handle it properly. It's a shame because this treatment ruins their business, since the place and facilities are very nice. The room is well decorated, modern, and has all the amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio is not good. The price is high."

"Als je om 12 uur aankomt en ze zeggen dat je kamer pas om 16 uur klaar is, is dat al een slecht teken. De beoordeling op *********** is 7,9 en ik snap waarom. Chaotisch, vies, de stoelen in het restaurant zitten onder allerlei vlekken. Walgelijk. De badkamers zijn vies en de service laat te wensen over."

"This place is beyond luxe and we loved every second of our stay. We originally only planned one night b/c of the cost, but we're so glad we added a second night. The restaurants, service and rooms are just as good as they come and we were so sad to leave. We did not use our embajador for much at all and felt a little awkward about that, but everyone was SO friendly and helpful."

"We hadden een slechte ervaring, we moesten de hele avond wachten op een code, om toegang te krijgen tot de kamer, vermiste vakantie, en ze waren zo rustig, ze maakten zich geen zorgen om te vertragen, ze beloonden ons niet. En het ergste van alles is dat we terug naar hetzelfde hotel later en het gebeurde ons hetzelfde!! We hebben vooraf contact met u op zodat het niet meer zou gebeuren en het gebeurde opnieuw. Ongelofelijk! Nogmaals zonder een spijt of compensatie. We hadden nooit een goede zaak, maar weinig professionele en respectvolle klanten. We zijn niet de enige die ze hebben gekregen, maar ze werken alleen via e-mail en hebben geen goede dienst. Het spijt me dat deze deal jullie de zaken verpest, omdat de locatie en de installaties erg goed zijn. De kamer is goed ingericht, modern en heeft alle prestaties. Het personeel is aardig en oppassend. Prijs is niet goed, hoge prijs."

"Wonderful resort. The setting, the views, the landscaping, the beach, the history - all just so special. As others have noted the room location being so close to the surf is unique. We woke up every morning and just opened our doors and listened to the waves crashing. The service was top notch. Team members are excited to converse and talk with pride about the hotel. Special thanks to Will and Arelis at Positivo and Chen our embajador. Also we had a great time with Santos at Encanto restaurant (not part of hotel but on the bigger property). We liked their bar and their burger and chicken parm! The spa is pricey but worth checking out for a treatment in part so you can enjoy the wide range of facilities (steam room, plunge pools, hot pools. etc). We loved how small and intimate the hotel feels - yet with every comfort available. It’s also nice that, since Puerto Rico is part of the US, there were no passport/customs formalities for us. We were on the beach within ~1 hour of landing at SJU! Very much looking fwd to a return visit."
