Carriage Inn Motel

"This is a budget motel. Do not book through a 3rd part site such as ******* or Reservations.com because if your plans change and you need to check out early, they will not refund you and you end up paying for the entire stay. Pool was closed and the water was black. Motel needs maintenance. Paint was peeling off the wall in the room I stayed in. They said on one website they have hair dryers and do not. Towels and linens were dingy, old and worn out and really need to be replaced. "

"My family and I really enjoyed our experience. This was the perfect place to host all the people for my friends wedding. The property was very large and really great for the kids to run around. The firepit was awesome and the whole area was really well kept. My husband and I sat on the dock at night by ourselves. It was very calm and romantic. The room itself was perfect for what we needed. A standard one bedroom 2 queen beds. I really liked that they had a microwave. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful."

"DON'T GET A ROOM HERE!!!!!! This place is very nasty. This place makes the Bate's Motel look like Ritz. I got the room online and it was not like the picture. The room was very dirty bed had a mattress cover no sheets no pillow no towels and the shower only had hot water, with all that said I slept in my car for the night and got a room somewhere else. before I left, I tried to get a refund for the rest of the nights it was not refundable. I was out of money, and I had to relocate 30 miles. SMH"
