"Prachtig hotel in oude stijl met een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad. Een enorme lobby en een prachtige inrichting, inclusief de gangen en kamers. De nadelen waren dat het sanitair zelfs 's avonds laat erg lawaaierig was en dat er geen parkeergelegenheid was (wat te verwachten is van een 4-sterrenhotel). Ze adviseerden me om een ​​parkeergarage in de stad te zoeken. Verder was het een fantastische plek om te verblijven."

"If you appreciate places where every object/detail tells a story, a real family home, then run to La Croix Blanche in Dax! The free wi-fi works very well. Fortunately, there is no TV screen that would affect the decor, which is unique to each room. The bed is comfortable, the pillows and duck feather duvets, a real treat. The coffee table offers not only coffee, but also tea and herbal tea. The shower products from a small local producer smell wonderful. The breakfast, in a friendly atmosphere, is delicious and hearty . It is a pleasure sit around the big table and learn about the history of Dax and the region. Homemade yogurts and compotes are a bonus not to be missed. It is a place full of charm where you feel good and where you have only one desire, it’s to return!"

"The doorman gave us a frosty reception after 7 pm. We had to wait until our second call for him to open the door... and he refused to help us put our heavy suitcases on the trolley, responding with, "I don't touch guests' luggage!" The next morning, the receptionists were just as unpleasant after our complaint. One receptionist even followed us into the lobby, shouting at us... it's unbelievable for a place dedicated to well-being. We won't be returning to this gloomy hotel in the evening, because of the reception and the rooms, which are like a hospital, only worse (metal furniture, outdated bathroom, a kitchenette but no dish towels or dish soap)."

"Centrally located. The hotel doesn't have its own carpark though there is one close by and plenty of on street parking. Very helpful management, especially when we found our booking was for next year! Thankfully they had space. A smallish room with a small balcony with a view of the river and casino. A good breakfast. An older style hotel that's obviously had a recent refit. As with most Accor group hotels, some interesting designer furniture and fittings. Use an up to date satnav as the current roadworks and restrictions in Dax aren't helpful. Though obviously hardly the hotels fault."

"Hotel very well located close to everything. Very friendly welcome. The room was clean and adequate. Breakfast is ok. Calm will depend on other customers. Small downside to note: there is no air conditioning so it can get hot in the rooms. A fan is still provided. To remember for a short stay."
