"We hebben een paar problemen gehad, maar niets dat onze persistentie en bereidheid om te helpen en professionalisme niet kon oplossen 😉 In de eerste plaats, de kamer waar we in waren geplaatst was ver gegrift van wat we verwachtten van de Trip.com boeking en vrij teleurstellend Dames en een tas op de receptie, maar hebben dit probleem opgelost met een betaalde upgrade, ook al tegen de goede prijs. Na het inchecken beseffen we dat de koffiemachine ontbreekt ...Misschien een van de redenen voor de deal goed was) Dan op een prachtig balkon aan de bergen en de Promenade ontmoetten we een asbak vol met sigarettenbouten. Het was een triest beeld, maar ik wist zeker dat de kamerservice het volgende dag zou schoonmaken. Het gebeurde niet. Toen de volgende dag niets veranderde, dus moest ik de receptie met het probleem behandelen. En pas na een tweede bezoek aan de receptie, ging een prachtige blonde dame op pad. Ik heb de geurlijke souvenirs meegenomen. We houden van het hotel, het is retro, maar nog steeds klassieke historische charme. We houden van het zien van bekende gezichten van de dames en heren in het restaurant en bar. Ze zijn altijd super mooi en professioneel. Het zwembad is ook altijd geweldig. Over het algemeen hadden we een goede verblijf en wensen Grandhotel Belvédère alles goed. Tot ziens!"

"We were with friends for 2 nights in two rooms in Solaria. They had gone there another time and the reservation was in their name. We were accommodated in room 2102. When we were checking in, we looked around the room, there is no check list of what is available such as glasses, dishes, furniture, chairs, coffee machines, etc. We left the hotel at 08:30 we left the key at the reception and no one wanted to see the room in what condition we leave it and what is available. After 3 hours of leaving, the amount of 400 CHF was withdrawn from our friends' card without warning and they received an email accusing us of moving chairs from one room to another and tearing the upholstery of one chair and for that they stopped the money. We went back to the hotel to check what we had done but the manager was very arrogant and rude to us and said you were right. We asked to see the chair, which they accused us of being torn. An employee brought it and when we asked which room the chair was from, he said a completely different room number than the one we were in. Much bitterness and disappointment remained with our stay in Solaria. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR ACCOMMODATION. But if you are still booked into staying overnight, please check everything very carefully when you check in, so that you don't end up being a victim too."

"I stayed for two nights. This hotel is centrally located and old world, which is a plus and a minus. It is a tram ride above the city. The grounds and building are outstanding. But they have kept it very old world. For example, my room was quite small and had no telephone. The room had no tub. I had asked for a glass of ice to chill critical medication - at the desk because of no phone - and I got the strangest glare, asking me what I needed it for. I told them, and they said they didn’t do that. They said they would “request” it, but it never came. When I checked again they offered to put it in their fridge, but I was not going to be separated from critical meds while in Europe where my medication is not offered. So my expensive medication will need to be thrown out when I get back. Two things I advise on. First, you must take a tram to the hotel. It runs every 15 minutes during the peak of day, but as infrequently as every 30 minutes early and late. There is nothing but frustration trying to get there by 9, but then getting your dinner check in town slowly, then arriving at 9:02 and needing to wait 30 minutes for the next tram. Second, the hotel is very hard to find because there is only the tram stop at the road. Although there is a big sign drivers can’t find it because there is no building with the name on it. If in doubt, go to the hotel Europa. That is where the driver will insist that that is your hotel. The tram is right next door on the right side. Probably easier to tell the driver to drop you at Europa, then walk the 50 feet till the tram. This hotel is best if you are there with few hard commitments, and just want to bask in the ambience and mountains. I was there for an event in town, and it is frustrating racing through breakfast to get the last tram that will let you arrive to and from the bottom in time with the tram."

"Already the welcome you receive at the check in is very warm and friendly. Staff is happy in what they are doing and this reflects to all the staff in the hotel and the restaurants. They take their time for the guests and no question you ask is to much for them. The rooms have a nice balcony where you can enjoy the stunning view of the Buedner Alps. We made a tour with Mr. Lanz, the director of the hotel and we experienced the beauty of Switzerland!"

"Great 4 star. Ample rooms with the basics but no luxuries. Wonderful and attentive service even if at times, speaking in English is challenging for the front staff (French and German ok). Has excellent indoor pool and saunas. For Davos meeting, 30 minutes walking in slush. (Forget ground transport of any kind because with WEF traffic it will take longer)"

Unfortunately the music (which was at least 50db in the room) was not turned off even after 11pm. Our call to reception was also unsuccessful. Hotel Davos - more of a dump for drunken party teenagers than a hotel with 4* standards!"

"Fijn, schoon hotel met grote kamers. Goed ontbijtbuffet met hoge kwaliteit producten. Dit hotel is zeker ook aan te raden om half pension te nemen. Avondeten bestaat doorgaans uit een 3 gangen diner met onder andere locale gerechten. Een van de avonden was er een BBQ buffet gefaciliteerd door een speciaal BBQ bedrijf. Professioneel personeel, zowel in de lobby als in het restaurant. Fijne ligging, op loopafstand van het meer, trein station, kabelbanen en supermarkt."

"Was here for a business trip for several days. The location of the hotel is ultra central, making it predestined for business trips and quick commutes to and from the congress center. My room was very! small and located next to elevator. Hotel was booked out, and changing rooms took a few days. Second room was considerably larger and more comfortable. Breakfast was little more than the youth hostel in Davos provides. All in all, it didn't feel like I was being catered to. The building and the rooms are not freshly renovated. This place benefits a lot by the central location..."

"Located on the Promenade, this hotel has outstanding beds (can't remember when I last slept so well in a hotel) and an exceptional breakfast. Reception was very nice and ready to help. We spoke in German but I believe they can speak EN too. Reception hours may seem odd but due to breaks but it wasn't a problem, our key was left ready for pickup. In general everyone is relaxed. We had a studio, big, cleaned daily with kitchinette (had everything you need for a short stay). Groceries close by (5mins walk). It's quite a walk to the city centre, but again whether this is an issue or not depends pn your interests. We also got free Davos transport tickets working also on some cable cars. Loved it and recommend it!"

"Top hotel, verdient een extra ster door het geweldige team! Onze kamer (102) was erg ruim, met heerlijke bedden. Het kussenmenu was een fijne toevoeging voor een goede nachtrust. De badkamer was niet groot, maar ruim genoeg voor de douche e.d. Douche heeft veel waterdruk dus je hoeft de kraan eigenlijk niet helemaal open te zetten. Ontbijt is van goede kwaliteit, met veel keuze. Eieren worden vers voor je bereid. De ligging is top, tegenover de P****nn lift. De parkeerplaatsen is de garage van het hotel zijn wat klein, maar aangezien je bij een wintersport je auto toch niet nodig hebt staat ie daar goed. Vanaf aankomst tot vertrek hebben we een service genoten die eerder bij een 5 sterren. hotel past. We willen nogmaals het hele team bedanken voor het geweldige verblijf wat we hebben mogen ervaren"
