Schatzalp Hotel

"Stayed for 5 days for a holiday in the snow. The hotel is beautifully located above Davos, only to be reached by a private cable car. When you arrive you feel you enter a film scene, where you can write the script. The whole atmosphere is one you will never forget, it is if you go back in time when only the happy few went on holiday. The hotel is done in beautiful architecture and is very elegant. Wood, marble and stone. Jugendstil details. Food is great, the staff friendly and helpful. You can sled down every night, on a private lighted sled course, and there is a great slope & ski lift is included in the hotel stay on the back of the hotel. Some things are older but that makes the hotel even better. I rather see something done with craft and nice materials then plastic fantastic. I have seen reviews of people who made a picture of some faded paint or a stain in the carpet.... that the hotel was older then they expected and some other silly bla bla. It is like not admiring a pretty lady but only concentrating on a pimple. f you like character and elegance and a hotel that one of a kind you should stay here. If you want a kind of mediocre middle class so called luxury, there are plenty of other hotel chains that cater to that. I will be back Hotel Schatzalp, I had a fantastic time!"

"Great 4 star. Ample rooms with the basics but no luxuries. Wonderful and attentive service even if at times, speaking in English is challenging for the front staff (French and German ok). Has excellent indoor pool and saunas. For Davos meeting, 30 minutes walking in slush. (Forget ground transport of any kind because with WEF traffic it will take longer)"

Davos Youth Hostel

"Mooie plek die gelegen is op de top van de heuvel, een beetje moeilijk te vinden sinds de naam op de tue sign niet echt overeenstemmen met de naam geboekt uit de app. Maar voedsel was goed hebben veel soorten voedsel en schoon."

Hotel Parsenn

"Top hotel, verdient een extra ster door het geweldige team! Onze kamer (102) was erg ruim, met heerlijke bedden. Het kussenmenu was een fijne toevoeging voor een goede nachtrust. De badkamer was niet groot, maar ruim genoeg voor de douche e.d. Douche heeft veel waterdruk dus je hoeft de kraan eigenlijk niet helemaal open te zetten. Ontbijt is van goede kwaliteit, met veel keuze. Eieren worden vers voor je bereid. De ligging is top, tegenover de P****nn lift. De parkeerplaatsen is de garage van het hotel zijn wat klein, maar aangezien je bij een wintersport je auto toch niet nodig hebt staat ie daar goed. Vanaf aankomst tot vertrek hebben we een service genoten die eerder bij een 5 sterren. hotel past. We willen nogmaals het hele team bedanken voor het geweldige verblijf wat we hebben mogen ervaren"

"Very comfortable and then a little far from the ski lifts but I liked the Comfort the restaurant has a very limited menu"

Hotel Concordia

"Located on the Promenade, this hotel has outstanding beds (can't remember when I last slept so well in a hotel) and an exceptional breakfast. Reception was very nice and ready to help. We spoke in German but I believe they can speak EN too. Reception hours may seem odd but due to breaks but it wasn't a problem, our key was left ready for pickup. In general everyone is relaxed. We had a studio, big, cleaned daily with kitchinette (had everything you need for a short stay). Groceries close by (5mins walk). It's quite a walk to the city centre, but again whether this is an issue or not depends pn your interests. We also got free Davos transport tickets working also on some cable cars. Loved it and recommend it!"

"Too expensive for what you get super old rooms not enough staff in the piano bar no parking showers are a joke - every time one uses it, the bathroom is flooded the only good thing about is place is the specious skiroom Breakfast buffet is ok overall too expensive"

"The hotel looks new, i remember i came here in the past and the rooms and inside hotel changed a lot, the sauna is top tier quality now and the rooms too. I love the fact the rooms have coffee machine inside, robs, all information about hotel and activities, good beds, wonderful balcony,good heat system and wonderful toilets compared to the past . The fruschtuk is beautiful and staff very good people, allways smile in their faces good energy . They have a bar and lounges , looks wonderful and beautiful. The housekeeping was very good cleaning the rooms and very kind team. The people who works on reception very communicative and very good. I hope came here in future it was awesome ❤️"

Casanna Hotel Davos City Center

"Ik was hier een paar dagen voor een zakenreis. De ligging van het hotel is ultra centraal, waardoor het ideaal is voor zakenreizen en snelle pendelritten van en naar het congrescentrum. Mijn kamer was erg klein en lag naast de lift. Het hotel was volgeboekt en het duurde een paar dagen om te verkleden. De t****e kamer was aanzienlijk groter en comfortabeler. Het ontbijt was niet veel uitgebreider dan in de jeugdherberg in Davos. Al met al voelde het niet alsof ik werd bediend. Het gebouw en de kamers zijn niet recent gerenoveerd. Deze plek profiteert enorm van de centrale ligging..."

Hotel Edelweiss

"Really cute and quiet spot near the town. You can walk from there to the train station in about 20-30 minutes. The elevator is hardly large enough for 2 people and luggage. The hotel room looked newly renovated. It was super clean and nicely decorated. The room we had was 308 with a large balcony with 2 lounge chairs and a small table. It is not pictured on their website. The bathroom was very small but functional. The bedroom was plenty large enough with 2 chairs and a small table. There isn’t a refrigerator but they got us an ice bucket. The staff were extremely nice and pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t much but it hit most of the basics. No cooked eggs to order but there were boiled eggs."
