"If you want to be right in the thick of the rainforest, then this is the place for you. The tent style huts with mosquito nets over the bed, adds to the beauty of sleeping safely amongst nature. At night you fall asleep to the sound of the nighttime creatures wondering around your elevated camp style tent. Sally was away but her staff did an excellent job with a warm welcome when I arrived. Not being use to the heat & humidity, the pool was a welcoming sight. The camp kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare your own food, if you didn’t bring food you can order a simple but delicious dinner meal from jungle cafe on site. A nice drive along the coast will bring you to Cape Tribulation where you will find cafes for breakfast & lunch. I stayed 2 nights on my own and I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for 5 star accommodation with the creature comforts of home. This place is not for you. If you’re looking to get back to nature and don’t mind a shared ammenities block, friendly staff, creepy crawlies, animals at your doorstep and the simple things in life. This is the place for you. Don’t forget to bring your insect repellent!!"

"Mooie plek rustige plek midden in het regenwoud. Het huisje was heel schoon en bed was goed. Gastheer was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was goed. Veel fruit. Alles kan. In de avond kun je daar ook eten. Menu is niet uitgebreid maar hij wil alles voor je maken. Zwembad is niet groot maar om af te koelen prima."

"Wat een schitterende plek midden in het regenwoud van Daintree National Parc! We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen door de manager en zij gaf ons direct al veel tips over wat er in de omgeving zoal te doen was. De cottages zijn uitstekend geoutilleerd en schoon. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en het eten ( zowel het ontbijt als het diner) is van zeer goede kwaliteit. We hebben ons, gedurende de drie dagen dat wij bij hen verbleven, erg thuis gevoeld mede door de goede sfeer binnen het team en de prachtige omgeving. We kunnen dit eenieder van harte aanbevelen."

"The lodge is up a quite steep driveway in a beautiful part of the rain forest - very close to the Daintree river and ferry. The host - Robbie - was exceptional. Very friendly and full of some great stories about the lodge and some of the guests. Our room was clean, comfortable and well set up. We had a great sleep. The view from the balcony was simply beautiful. Power is off-grid so some of the facilities are limited to the power available from the battery systems - but we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a delight and chatting to the other guests was a wonderful way spend the evening."

"Very nice place to stay! Beautiful lodges with outdoor shower and toilet. In the middle of the rainforest and a place to dip in the water. The cam-kitchen was perfect with wifi and a nice view. Manager came by with his pet (snake) that was a very inspiring experience! Klaas Verhoeven"

"We boekten de accommodatie die het dichtst bij de moeilijk te vinden stuiterende stenen lag. Onze bonus was een supernette, schone en gastvrije kleine bungalow. De ramen met meerdere glazen lamellen vertoonden geen enkel spoor van vuil, viezigheid, spinnenwebben of versleten horren - niets! Het was heerlijk schoon met leuke extra's, zoals een oceaanthema-inrichting - bedovertrek, toiletrolhouder, handdoekhaakjes. Het plafond was in uitstekende staat, zonder tekenen van schimmel, meeldauw of spinnenwebben, wat gebruikelijk is in zulke tropische gebieden. We checkten in via een e-mail en een vriendelijk briefje op de deur van de hut. Het beste van alles was dat we de stuiterende stenen op slechts 15 minuten lopen van het strand vonden! Helaas liep er tijdens ons bezoek geen kasuaris langs!"
