"Goede locatie. We kunnen naar het bezoekerscentrum van Cradle lopen. Er was wifi bij het incheckgebied, maar niet in de hut. De hut was klein met een complete kitchenette en verwarming in de woonkamer. We kwamen na 17:00 uur aan. Het kantoor was al gesloten, maar we konden de sleutel uit de incheckbox halen. Ik raad aan om hier te verblijven als je naar Cradle Mountain gaat."

"I stayed at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge from 8–10 December 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed, welcomed, and surrounded by nature. The lodge itself has a warm and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful views and easy access to the walking trails. My room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed — the perfect place to unwind after exploring the national park. I loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of the forest and seeing wildlife around the property. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. They were always happy to help with recommendations and made the stay feel very personal. I also really enjoyed the food at the restaurant — delicious meals with a great selection, and lovely settings for both breakfast and dinner. What made this stay truly special was the combination of comfort and nature. It felt like a retreat, but still had all the conveniences I needed. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and very happy with my time here. I would highly recommend Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge to anyone visiting Cradle Mountain."

"Cozy and fully stocked with all of our needs. Opposit to the visitors centre, easy to connect to walking trails and the nearby restaurant. Will definitely recommend."

"Comfortable stay for the night. Design was old fashion but it was clean. Within 5 mins short drive down to Devils@cradle and Cradle Mountain Climb. Boardwalk available in the hotel which is about a 10mins loop, didnt manage to catch any wildlife. Do not have a heater in the room so it gets quite chilly at night."

"We didn't notice that we needed to check in before 6pm. When we arrived at the hotel after the Cradle Mountain hike, it was just over ten minutes. At first, we thought we had found the wrong entrance to the reception (it was a regular hotel, not a B&B, so we didn't expect that we couldn't check in so early. The sun didn't set until 8pm). There were two staff members sitting at the reception counter (glass door, visible from the outside), and no matter how we knocked or gestured, they just shook their hands. There was a small iron box on the door that needed to be opened with the password given in the email, and there was a key inside. But there were several big words in my email: Unable to display the content of the email! There was no way, we called the hotel, but they didn't answer and transferred the call to voice, so we had to leave a message. Just when we were about to contact Ctrip, the people inside finally came out, opened the iron box, and gave us the key. How arrogant!!!"
