"My daughter and I stayed over the Mothers Day weekend March 14th/15th . From our arrival we knew this was the perfect getaway for us, the quiet countryside location , nearby to places of scenic and historical interest, pubs and restaurants just a short drive away in nearby small towns .. upon our arrival Neil and Reece were the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble for them to help with. Our room was very clean, our beds very comfortable and lots of little extras were there to make your stay comfortable.. Hot Breakfast was ready on the time you had booked and was served and presented to a very good standard.. and on the side table was the help yourself buffet of cold options …highlight of our stay was the beautiful Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea .. well done Neil and Reece.. we will definitely be back to stay .. Maxine Fletcher and Chantelle (UK)"

"We visited to have lunch. There were 6 of us and we were seated at a circular table in spacious surroundings. Everywhere was clean and welcoming. Staff very helpful and the menu varied. We only wanted sandwiches. Good choice of fillings and choice of bread accompanied with salad and coleslaw. A side helping of chips were cooked to perfection. Would definately recommend and will visit again"

"The accommodation was poor to put it politely. Our employee sent through pictures which showed bugs on the floor, a shower that was hanging off the wall and the shower head was black with dirt. Our business is all over the country and we have never had an employee complain like this. It was so bad they actually refused to stay there. We have tried to cancel further bookings but we do have to accept that when booking we accepted that it was a no refund policy. Please be cautious when booking this accommodation."
