"Een beetje een cruise schip ervaring in de zin dat je vanaf het hotel al wandelend max 4km kunt bewegen. Dus je moet een auto huren om iets te doen. Weet wel, het is heel druk op Gran Canaria, parkeren is een ramp. Het hotel ligt aan een klein zwart strand, directe toegang. Zwemmen in oktober prima te doen. Het eten is OK . Maar buiten eten kan alleen 's middags met heel beperkt aanbod. We misten ook een dansje. De pianobar heeft zelfs geen dansvloer. Buiten wel live music met soms eens mogelijkheid tot dansen. Absoluut een dikke pluim voor het super vriendelijk personeel!! Je werd constant overal voorzien van alles wat je wilde. Aan het zwembad liggen in rijtjes is niets voor ons. Dat is persoonlijk. Maar onze kamer met tuin en zeezicht was geweldig. Het had een prijskaartje, maar ik vond het zijn geld waard. De zonsondergang is er instagramable."

"I've been around the world. Born in London. I'm Greek Cypriot, so I'm always in Cyprus. I'm living in Florida, so I'm used to top-end hotels. And I'm here. This hotel is a classic. It's perfect. It's everything you want with some sense of tradition and a bit of old school. The staff are amazing. The facility is wonderfully laid out. The cleanliness of food. Considering it's a busy place, it's well laid out. Even the gym, the diving, the cycling, higher that you can do at a professional level or an amateur level. You've got top-end bikes that you can cycle higher from here. It's right opposite the shops. It's perfect. For the money, you can't get better."

"Beautiful ocean views from all rooms. A private funicular within the hotel for access to the upper floors. Conveniently located for access to the beaches of Amadores and Puerto Rico. Very well-equipped apartments with all necessary utensils. I didn't like the monotonous breakfast. I got a room at the end, right next to the funicular. The noise from it was disturbing at night."

"The room was terrible, over 1500 RMB a night without breakfast. The cleanliness was worse than a 150 RMB room in China. The room was awful, with a strange smell that made it impossible to sleep. The hotel is too old. The location is great, but it's simply too old and needs renovation, otherwise the stench is overwhelming. However, the view from the hotel is actually very nice; it has a cliffside feel and is quite stunning. Therefore, I suggest booking a newer hotel nearby."

"We booked this hotel as we needed an extra night before checking into our main holiday. Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place was. We had a pool level room with a huge terrace, very clean, well maintained. The only downside was only the bedroom had air conditioning and as we used the sofa bed (very comfortable) as well it was a really hot night! Excellent y friendly service and the buffet breakfast was lovely. But a long walk and multiple lifts … but wow the view from up top was incredble. We would definitely stay here again"
