"Didn't spend much time here due to being at a wedding and having to leave early. But, we got to collect keys early, the hosts were lovely, beds huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and a lot to choose from. Lovely surroundings. If we need to stop in this area again, then this will be our first choice."

"We stayed in the shepards hut with the wood fired hot tub . The hut was cosy and comfortable, with all we needed for a nights stay. The owner started the fire for the hot tub and gave us instructions how to get the best from it . Whilst eating a super home cooked meal in the bar i popped back and stoked the fire readying it for use . 1 3/4 hrs later it was ready. A real treat on a cold clear night. We slept amazingly on the comfy bed . A hearty breakfast was provided . The owner were on hand for a friendly chat and directions for walks . Definitely one to return to"
