"We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room. This is not overwater, but just on the side of the land with a porch that extends over the water. I specifically chose this property and room as we needed space for two parents and two teenagers. The cabin has two bedrooms (one queen and one with two twins). The lower level has the bathroom (small but fine) and a small living room/kitchen area. There is no AC on the lower level, but that was ok. You can easily get a water taxi to Bocas town for $1/person day $2/person night. The breakfast is cooked to order, which was good. The owner was accommodating for our minor requests. There is a lot of noise from the water taxis and from Aqua nightclub. Keep in mind that Carenero has *a lot* of tiny sand flies and we all got bitten up (even with using bug spray). So bringing insecticide is a must."

"Great place on Carenero island: friendly staff, cosy room, just a minute away from Bocas town and they serve a superb breakfast (not included but at a really reasonable price)! The bed was really comfortable and the room was really spacious. However, the best thing about it is that it is literally on the crystal clear water so you’ll see the fish swimming around you every morning!!! The lovely dogs are another plus!😊"
