"I spent 5 nights at the Wesley for a business trip. It's located in Bryanston in a very quiet area, about half an hour from the airport, and 1.5km from the Bryan shopping centre. Business parks and offices are a 10 minute taxi ride away. The room was very comfortable, and has a large walk-in shower. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and there is a pool, which I didn't get to try as it was still a bit cold. It was a real pleasure to relax in the gardens. Breakfast consists of cereals, juices, toast - and an excellent hot meal cooked to order. No fresh salad option, but I was more than happy with what was provided. Note there is no evening meal, so you'll need to go out, or order in from Uber Eats. There is no shortage of options in the area. If I need to return to Johannesburg I'll definitely stay at the Wesley again."

"We had to fly up to Jhb unexpectedly as my mother passed away. We chose City Lodge Bryanston as it is directly opposite the hospital where my mother had been and is also close to her home. The staff were so welcoming and supportive and even gave us a compassionate discount because of our circumstances. Each member of staff was friendly and courteous and went out of their way to be of service. We are returning in October for my mother's memorial and will be staying at the City Lodge Bryanston again as we know that we will be very well looked after."
