"Ranscombe House was perfect for our needs , we only stayed for one night we arrived a bit early and asked to leave the car at their car park which was ok. Went into town which isn’t that far away. Pip was a great host the room was perfect very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. We had a free upgrade and the view from the midships room are great. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Pip for making making us feel at home."

"We had an amazing experience! The view is breathtaking and it's a short walking distance to the harbour. The room was spotless and all details were there to make you confortable. "Geweldige plek om te blijven. Liefdevolle, vriendelijke en welkome eigenaars. Niets was te veel problemen voor hen. Kamers zijn zeer hoge standaard, ruime en veel kleine luxe zoals kleding, zeep, shampoo, slippers, koelkast, gefleselijk water, enz. Het ontbijtmenu had een breed scala aan heerlijke dingen om uit te kiezen. Eieren werden perfect gekokt!! Ook de warme tube geliefd! Hoewel aanbevolen."

"A must stay for couples! The view was incredible (you can see in the photos below)! We had also a fantastic meal at The Rockfish restaurant, and the hotel's location couldn't be more convenient for all the shops/bars/restaurants in the port. Het hotel had een parkeerplaats in de haven zelf en was zeer comfortabel. We gebruikten de eigen check-in, het was zo snel en gemakkelijk dat we gewoon konden gaan met onze korte reis en geen tijd verspillen! Bij ontbijt hadden we het genoegen de eigenaren te ontmoeten, naast het heerlijke (maakt om te bestellen) ontbijt, de dienst was ongelooflijk. Verheug je me zeer!"

I had the ribeye steak which I asked it to be cooked bleu, it was perfect and up there with the best I’ve ever had. All the team were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"We’ve just returned from our 3rd visit to this B&B having previously stayed in various places around the harbour over many years. It’s a beautiful old house with loads of character in the perfect spot for a view over Brixham, a couple of minutes walk down the hill and you’re in the harbour. The on site parking is a huge plus in Brixham. We were a group of 5 this time with our 2 children 17 and 14 and our sons’ school friend 15 & our dog. The bunk room was perfect for the boys and as the smallest of the rooms available you get use of the cosy separate lounge downstairs. My wife and I and our daughter stayed in Crows Nest 1 at the top of the house. I had to laugh at an earlier review slating this room for the low ceiling beams which gives it so much character. At 6 foot 2 it didn’t bother me at all. Hard to imagine a better host than Pip. Very welcoming with a great knowledge of the area. Nothing too much trouble and he cooks a superb breakfast to order, around ample choice for uncooked options if that’s your preference. The Honesty Bar is a nice touch, help yourself and write down whatever you have for payment when you leave, adds to the homely/welcoming feel of the place. We’ll be back…again!"

"Revisiting Brixham, we had such a lovely experience staying at Driftwood B&B. Very comfortable, great breakfast and great views! Zoe and Keith are very welcoming and homely. Driftwood is very close to the harbour and shops. As you leave the front door, turn right and right again and within 3 minutes you are in the middle of the harbourside! Brilliant!"

"Mijn man en ik zijn net terug van een twee nachten verblijf bij Brookside B &B. Eerst om te zeggen wat mooie gastheer Joe en Linda waren. We werden warm welkom en thee en taart gegeven op de aankomst die zeer gewaardeerd was. Joe vertelde ons alles over onze verblijf. Onze kamer was zo schoon en comfortabel met een prachtige badkamer met witte handdoeken en voorzieningen. Het ontbijtmenu had een geweldige keuze en werd vers gekoeld en mooi gepresenteerd door Linda. Er was een warme buis die we een van de dagen laat genoten. Joe gooide ons zelfs twee glazen Prosecco terwijl we daar waren. We waren op wandelafstand naar Brixham met veel winkels, pubs en supervisse restaurants. We zouden graag hier blijven als we Brixham bezoeken. Bedankt Joe en Linda voor een geweldig verblijf."
