"We love Hotel Palace!!! This is the perfect hotel in Bormio for a family and friends ski holiday. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Taking the shuttle to the ski gondola is very easy, but also walking is very quick. The food is delicious, high quality and variety to suit everyone. The 4 course menu changes every night. Children can eat from the regular menu, but they also cater so well for fussy eaters with a choice of kid friendly pastas and meat dishes. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is very large and clean. The spa and jacuzzi are wonderful after skiing. Do not forget to see Bruno at the bar for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles!"

Whenever there was a technical or historical problem, we got immediate help from the host, including direct delivery of spare parts :-) The food was excellent and the dining was cosy. We felt serviced at a high level :-) I would love to come back for more biking or for skiing in the winter."

Hotel Baita Dei Pini
"We waren van plan een tour te maken Ulm, Bormio, Campina ‘d Ampezzo, Ljubljana, Gastein, St Anton en weer naar Ulm. Met 4 man op 4 motorfietsen. Planning was van 30 Augustus t/m 5 September. Deze week viel echter in de noodweer week in de Alpen en Dolomieten en waren er zelfs wegen afgesloten waardoor we hotels niet zouden kunnen bereiken. Alle hotels waren al definitief geboekt en annuleren kon op 30 augustus volgens voorwaarden niet meer. Vanwege de overmachtsituatie hebben contact gehad met de hotels en bijna allen waren bereid de gehele of gedeeltelijke verblijfskosten kwijt te schelden. Hotel Baita dei Pini wilde daar niet aan en eiste de volledige reissom op. Dit is hun goede recht volgens voorwaarden, maar het delen van de kosten zou wel zo netjes zijn geweest. Het blijft een kwestie van geven en nemen maar als wij naar het hotel hadden gereden zouden wij aan het einde van die niet in de stromende regen zijn gestrand, het hotel was niet bereikbaar, wegen waren afgesloten. Op dit moment zijn er nog steeds wegen afgesloten op onze voorgenomen tour. Over de service en gastvrijheid van het hotel kan ik niets zeggen want we zijn er niet geweest, over hun servicegraad buiten het verblijf om kan ik wel wat zeggen, namelijk dat wij dit hotel niet meer zullen reserveren bij de uitgestelde reis. De eigenaar heeft vermoedelijk het inlevingsvermogen van een betonblok. Jammer."

"We stayed at Hotel Meuble della Contea for 3 nights (4 days) and couldn't make a better choice for our holiday in Bormio. Strategic location The hotel has an invidiable location: it is very comfortable to reach the lifting facilities (essential for the skiers) and to walk in the centre. We could forget the car and enjoy the country in total relaxation. Breakfast and raw materials Breakfast was one of the most pleasant moments of the day. We have found a selection of typical products of excellent quality, with fresh raw materials that tell the taste of the territory. The service in the room has always been careful and timely. Hospitality and Staff What makes this hotel special, however, is the human factor. The staff is incredibly kind, affectionate and careful. They are always ready to give a smile or give the right advice on what to visit or where to go, making you feel constantly cocked. Cleaning from 10 and praise A special pleasure goes to the management of the rooms. Every morning we found the clean room in the minimum detail, with a perfect order and the change of bathrooms done daily. A hygiene care that is not discount and we appreciated very much. In conclusion: A hotel that combines professionalism and human heat. We will surely return!"

Location is superb, about a 2 minute walk to the slopes and a 5-10 minute walk over a beautiful pedestrian bridge into the historic section of Bormio. Cannot recommend this place enough."

"An amazing place to stay for skiers. Excellent location, just in a middle between ski lifts and an old town. Only 5-6 minutes walking to both directions. Amazing service and very kind and attentive ladies operating this small, warm and cozy place. The breakfast was amazing, always fresh, and coffee just perfecto! :) with breakfast you are able to get all the energy you need for skiing:) Room cleaning provided every day. Cosy and very warm rooms are the place you want to come back after being all day on the snow :) Definitely coming back next year! Bravisimo :)"
