"One of the greatest assets of Sandpiper is the ownership. John and Annette are two wonderful, down to earth people that create a very warm, welcoming feel to the property. They’re fun to talk to and give the place a soul. The cottages themselves are quite sufficient and are stocked with everything you could think of and more. Some places I have stayed at cut corners in this regard but not here. Then there’s the beach! In less than 60 seconds, you can reach a gorgeous peach with practically no one on it. It was nice to return from a long day of hiking at Freycinet and be able to jump into a pristine ocean upon my return."

"We bleef in het huis, Cod Rock Point, en hadden een prachtige tijd. Het prachtige uitzicht van de bovenste slaapkamer, de omgeving met de kleine pinguïns, Wineglass Bay, het was allemaal geweldig. "Staying two nights at Beach End felt the same as the beachside flats we often stayed in on Magnetic Island, Queensland. Everything we needed was there. Little touches ( like the functional cooking items) were thoughtfully there. Homely: very much so! The units are 30 or so years old but are clean, comfortable and well positioned, with a view to the nearby beach and Diamond Island. Shane and Nort do their best to include a visitor into a community. Five Stars Plus. Peter Jacobson, Queensland."
