"Ik kwam hier alleen voor een lunch bij The Triple Twigs, maar ik vond mijn tijd daar. Erg mooie plek met prachtig uitzicht en mooie wandelingen op het gebouw. Veel activiteiten als je overnacht. De dienst was zeer vriendelijk en professioneel. Ik ging daar naar de zondagsmiddag. Het was heel rustig, maar ik heb me goed gehuisvest. Het eten was oké, met lokale producten."

"Excellent venue for trout fishing. Been there twice. This time however a cold front took fish of the bite. The chalets are excellent equipped and very cosy once the fire is burning. The dams are on your front stoep and the staff extremely friendly. Please is well kept and well looked after. Wifi and TV is not up to scratch as signal is dropped non stop and it is an effort to watch anything or to use the internet."

"This review is relatively objective being my 20th road trip, this year encompassing 17 properties over a 43 night period. I stayed 3 nights solo in April. Easily found just outside of Dullstroom and its shops/restaurants. A real old school property that has been well maintained and sympathetically brought up to date without losing any of its undoubted charm and character. Friendly, professional and efficient staff throughout. My chalet, with an unobstructed view across the valley to the mountains, was large, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Excellent quality bed linen and towels. The fireplace on the cool evenings was especially warming, literally and for the soul! Excellent old school public areas, bar and restaurants with plenty of fireplaces. Think linen table cloths in the main restaurant. The terrace restaurant provided a less formal ambience. Food was excellent in quality throughout. Breakfast was taken outside overlooking a pool in the early morning sunshine - very, very pleasant. I hired a mountain bike to tour the whole property, which was interesting. However, the bike itself did need some serious maintenance on the brakes - almost non existent on downward slopes - tricky! I also walked up to the hilltop viewpoint. The well maintained path was paved most of the way, which made it much safer during periods of inclement weather. All of this comes at a price, but does provide value for money."

We zijn grote fans van de eigenschappen van de Touch Down Group en deze was niet teleurgesteld, en ik begin niet eens met de salivaerende waardig voedsel!"
