This review was written by my 8-year old daughter: About this hotel: It is a family hotel. If you are a kid, the first thing they are going to do is give you a teddy bear. It has a swimming pool and a gym. The swimming pool is really cool and it has a small waterfall built into a rock. The gym is quite big itself but we didn't go there. It has a nice view and a nice hotel restaurant. The food is really good and they have a really great breakfast. You order the main food and you get to choose the side dishes from a breakfast bar. For the main food, I picked omelet - it is quite yummy but it was not salty enough. For the side dishes, I picked cereal, kiwi and juice. They were all really yummy and sweet. You should go to Dorint. I give this hotel a five star review. -- From the parents' side a few additional notes: On the negative side - There is no AC in the apartment, so while this may not matter in the summer, it was quite warm during our visit (30-35C). It cools off nicely in the evening, but there are no screens on the window, so you'll likely end up with a few moths or other bugs in the room if you leave the windows open. On the positive side, they really cater well to families - from the teddy bear at check-in to a little board game on the back of the kids menu, to the small playground area (which seemed to be good for 4-6 year olds). Clean room, very friendly staff, super view, perfect for a night during the journey holidays negative points are that it is very ringhound. You hear almost everything from the room next door. And the beds are cracking right.

We stayed here for a few nights towards the end of October. It was such a welcoming and cosy place - we loved our stay. There are spectacular views from the hotel and the rooms are homey and comfortable. The breakfast is great and the owners are wonderful and providing suggestions and advice on activities around the area. The town was quiet due to the season closing but we did try some great restaurants near by the hotel. Our hosts were so welcoming and love making the stay special for guests with lots of lovely touches throughout our stay. Definitely book in the hot spa if you get a chance - very relaxing and magical. Thank you to our lovely and welcoming hosts Dani and Linda for making such a wonderful experience for us.

Don’t waste your Money! Plenty of better hotels in the town! After traveling around Switzerland and staying in three different hotels prior to SALZANO we were shocked when a Blonde lady at reception was so unwelcoming and unfriendly when checking us in on arrival. We were shocked at how small the room was, they offered us a larger room for an extra 90CHF a night! However this room was even more dated than the first. The first night we didn’t sleep at all, the room was so hot even with a fan, it felt like a sauna. With the windows open we ended up with so many flys and bugs in the room, and woke up covered in bites. The bathroom was so old the hotel really needs updating for the prices they are charging per night! We asked if we could check our early as we really didn’t want to stay another two nights. The blonde lady just remarked with it’s their policy that you have to give 5 days notice for cancellation and that we would be charged in full if we left! That same morning we were so surprised at how basic the breakfast was! Only Egg choice is boiled and no hot food! For the price your paying I just couldn’t believe they can’t even offer eggs or a cooked breakfast! The second day we came to breakfast at 9:30am (breakfast finish’s at 10am) there was no bread or Croissants left! 30 Minutes before breakfast finish’s and they run out of food for the guest that are paying an extortionate amount of money to stay. Only positive was the spa is modern compared to the rest of the hotel. We had Dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent, that’s why we couldn’t work out why the breakfast was so poor and limited! Interlaken is beautiful this was the best part of our stay and we made sure to spend little time as possible at the hotel. Would not recommend unless you are looking for the most basic hotel for a premium price! I will not be returning

After many years we came back to the Jugi at Tuner Lake. The contact was quickly made and the answers came in advance quickly. We were warmly welcomed and the team made a effort to make us feel well. Although it was a little fresh in the jugi (there is no heating), but we knew that already. The two dinners (night and breakfast) were very generously tabled as a buffet. Only that put through the night rest we wished tonight. Because in Stübli was played very long and noisy. But otherwise I can recommend this jugi for Romatics/Dreamers, but also as a starting point for the Bernian Oberland.

I stayed here in August with two friends - we loved our room and were fortunate enough to get a balcony and view of the mountains - not that we stayed in room much as there is so much to see around the area ! But it was beautiful to wake up to ! Like the previous reviewer I was a little worried by some previous negative reviews ….. but be assured Hotel Chalet Swiss is rustic and charming and spotlessly clean and the staff were all wonderful - from front desk to kitchen staff We had a family room / triple room - and as it is chalet style - yes it will be an older style - but very clean and good shower and the beds were very comfy and they provided fans - it could still be hot but most people could open windows for breeze .. we didn’t only as mosquitoes seem to love our pale Northern Irish skin 😂 The breakfast was lovely and the ladies serving ( or organising some guests who seemed more clueless at moving around a small buffet space !) were brilliant ( they accommodated my need for oat milk as I was staying for 6 days which was so appreciated) the breakfast had a large variety of cereals , fruit , fresh bread and croissants and bread for toasting and lots of jams or spreads , cold hams and cheeses and scrambled egg and a coffee machine ( for those that say there wasn’t enough variety we were there for 6 days and even me who was more limited being dairy free - was still very happy with my breakfasts - and view from breakfast most days …. Now I’m home my own breakfast feels inadequate 😂 The staff were very helpful and the guy we were speaking to ( might have been the owner ?) on our last day was so interesting with a wealth of knowledge of the travel industry and changes he’s seen - sorry we couldn’t have listened to more of his tales ! ( the hotel also accommodated us checking out in am and providing left luggage storage before catching train back to Zurich in afternoon which meant we could make most of our last day ) The hotel is very convenient to Interlaken West - ( even with cases !) and also very handy to a Co-op supermarket which became our place to stock up on food / snacks for lunch - en route to the train for that days adventures . You can easily walk into Interlaken from the hotel but I highly recommend walking by the river ( it’s turquoise and you won’t believe it till you see it !) which takes you all the way to Interlaken Ost train station and to Harder Kulm All in all we loved our stay in Interlaken and would highly recommend this hotel !
