We stayed one night in a glamping dome at Mon Kampong Kampground and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. What struck me most was how clean and well-kept everything was — the dome felt brand new, the bedding was crisp and fresh, and there wasn't a single detail that felt overlooked. It's rare to find a nature stay this polished; usually you trade comfort for the outdoor setting, but here we got both. The dome itself was surprisingly cozy for something so close to nature — comfortable bed, everything working perfectly, and just a genuinely relaxing space to unwind especially with the sound of the river flowing in the background. The surroundings near Mae Kampong village added to the charm, with a quiet, peaceful setting that made the whole stay feel like a proper escape. Service was attentive while still giving privacy and check-in was smooth. For anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-run glamping experience near Chiang Mai, I'd book this again no question. One of the best stays I've had — highly recommend.

An amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out. The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

We had an absolute wonderful stay here and couldn't have asked for a better experience as a couple. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat away from the noise, this is the place to be. It’s located just 5 km from the main hub, which gave us the absolute best of both worlds: total peace and tranquility at night, while still being a quick and easy drive to all the main attractions, restaurants, and sights during the day. What truly set this place apart, though, was the host. The owner is incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming—especially if you're traveling with furry friends! It’s rare to find places that are so genuinely pet-friendly, and our pet was made to feel just as welcome as we were. Overall, it’s fantastic value for money. Spotless, peaceful, and hosted by someone who truly cares about their guests. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip! Highly recommended!

A little corner of Japan nestled in the dense, green vegetation of northern Thailand. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. An experience definitely worth repeating, thanks also to the unique and always helpful staff. Thank you, and see you next time.

With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip. We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you! Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this. We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons. As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv. Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!

ที่พักดีสะดวกสบาย สะอาด ที่นอนดี ห้องน้ำแยกห้องสุขา ห้องอาบน้ำ อาหารเช้าโอเคร เรือนทานข้าวติดกับลำธารบรรยากาศดีมากๆ ในห้องพักมีกระจกบานใหญ่สำหรับคุณผู้หญิงแต่งหน้าแต่งตัวสะดวก แต่อยากให้มีรองเท้าใส่ในบ้านเตรียมไว้ให้ เพราะดึกๆอากาศเย็นเดินแล้วเย็นเท้า ที่ชอบอีกอย่างมีน้ำดื่มทานฟรีให้เป็นสิบขวดและน้ำอัดลมแช่เย็นดีมากๆ มีมาม่าคัพเพื่อหิวทานฟรีเช่นกัน ทางที่พักใส่ใจดีมากๆ พนักงานก็น่ารักดูแลดี ตินิดนึงที่ทำเล ที่พักติดถนนข้ามไปก็เป็นลำธาร แต่ไม่มีที่นั่งเล่นส่วนกลาง ถ้ามีจะดีมากๆเลย

Het hotel ligt wat afgelegen in de heuvels, maar het uitzicht vanuit de kamer is werkelijk prachtig en de moeite waard. We kwamen om 21:00 uur aan en de keuken was bijna gesloten, maar ze waren zo vriendelijk om ons toch te laten bestellen en te dineren. Het eten was heerlijk! Er zat een enorme spin in onze kamer toen we binnenkwamen. Ik heb het personeel via WhatsApp om hulp gevraagd. Ze hebben ons geholpen om de spin snel te verjagen. Echt top! De kamer was redelijk schoon, maar de details lieten te wensen over. De jacuzzi was heerlijk om te gebruiken 😆 Het was super ontspannend om naar het prachtige uitzicht te kijken met het rustgevende geluid van de jacuzzi. Ik kreeg een zak popcorn als bedankje met een mooie tekst op de verpakking. Dat was heel attent en ik voelde hun oprechte intentie. Dankjewel!

De ingang is erg diep in het hotel en er zijn veel insecten, maar het personeel is vriendelijk. De ingang is een beetje eng en er was niemand bij de receptie om in te checken; we moesten roepen om hun aandacht te trekken. De kamer zelf was over het algemeen prima. Google Maps geeft de exacte locatie niet weer; je moet helemaal naar het einde van het steegje lopen. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig: rijstpap, koffie, brood en gebakken eieren.
