Cannot beat the location of this hotel which sits directly above Tokyo Station. Beautiful hotel with lovely staff who speak perfect English. The Chief Concierge Ms Mori was so helpful and affable - able to help with all requests. Breakfast spread in The Atrium was good as usual but there was just the one platter of marinated raw sea bream as the sashimi dish. The fruits were tiny cubes of melon, pineapple, kiwi and orange (1 each) in individual serves. Last year, there was chirashi offered. And in 2019, a huge platter of all kinds of sashimi and slices of Hokkaido melon. The drinks and snacks / plates offered at the hotel's bar called Bar & Lounge Camellia were excellent. We visited thrice. Happy Hours is 5 to 6 pm with cocktails (even Bellini & Mimosa made with champagne !), beer, wine, mocktails at ¥1300. Staff were congenial and bartenders very professional.

Het hotel zou een oud sterrenhotel moeten zijn met online faciliteiten en diensten. De kamer is vrij groot voor een Japans hotel. Het heeft een aparte ruimte voor een kaptafel en een garderobe, wat geweldig is. De locatie van het hotel is niet het dichtst bij de zakenwijk, maar het is rustig in de drukte. Als je iets koopt bij warenhuis Keio, kun je het bij het hotel laten bezorgen (volgens andere gasten). Er zijn twee buurtwinkels op minder dan drie minuten lopen van het hotel, wat erg handig is voor het kopen van eten en drinken. De luchthavenbus rijdt rechtstreeks naar de deur van het hotel, wat geweldig is voor mij, die een beetje in de war was net nadat hij uit het vliegtuig stapte.

Our stay in Tokyo at this hotel near Kinshicho was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is ideal – just a 10-minute walk to Kinshicho Station, which connects you so easily to the rest of the city. Around the station you can find everything you need: shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and even entertainment. It made exploring Tokyo simple, comfortable, and stress-free. But what impressed us most was the room itself. From the very first moment we walked in, everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. The design is simple yet elegant, with warm touches that make it feel like home. The apartment-style layout was incredibly practical – a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa and pillows, a large table perfect for working or enjoying a meal, and a bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep after busy days in the city. The curtains blocked out light perfectly, and the lighting in the room was cozy yet bright when needed. The kitchen was a wonderful surprise – fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and even an electric kettle. Having this option made our stay even more comfortable, whether we wanted a quick snack or a home-style breakfast before heading out. The bathroom facilities were also excellent. Everything was spotless, the shower and bath were modern and easy to use, and we especially appreciated having a washing machine – such a valuable convenience for a longer stay. The separate sink area with a wide mirror and good lighting was perfect for getting ready. Every detail of the room showed how much thought was put into the comfort of guests. It wasn’t just a place to sleep – it truly felt like our own Tokyo home. The atmosphere was peaceful, the furniture was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness and organization exceeded our expectations. Staying here made our Tokyo experience even more enjoyable. We always looked forward to returning to the room after exploring the city, knowing it would be a clean, calm, and welcoming space. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Tokyo, especially around Kinshicho, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Perfect location, wonderful facilities, and a beautiful, well-maintained room – it’s everything you could want for a comfortable and unforgettable stay.

A lovely hotel that I would stay at again. I booked the bunk bed, which my roommate and I felt really comfortable in. Staff were quite friendly and most understood/could speak English. It says self check-in on the booking page but there was someone present to help us through the check-in process. Note that there's an accommodation tax (900 yen per person) that needs to be paid on check-in. Since we stayed for more than five days, they did full housekeeping (changing bedsheets) for two out of the eight days. However, they also were able to provide fresh towels and clear trash daily (we just put their provided magnetic notice on the door and left the items at the entryway). Showers were small, but amazing. They provide a day's worth of toothpaste, a toothbrush, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an electric kettle, a microwave, plates, utensils, cups, scissors, detergent, and two pairs of room slippers. There was an HDTV (with an HDMI port) that we directly connected to Netflix (no need to logout) as well. This hotel is about an 8 minute walk away from Ryogoku station and 11 mins from Asakusa station. If you have a really physical day or have hefty luggage, then this might feel a bit far, but the area generally feels safe, and you get to cross the bridge over the Sumida river to/from Asakusa, which is nice. Other things to note: There is one shared washing machine for the whole hotel that's free to use, and it takes about 2H per wash and tumble dry cycle. There was no quick wash setting. We had to do ours in the wee hours because other guests were quicker to use them in the ”prime” hours (7-9am and 8pm-12mn). A QR code and/or number code is used to unlock your door's digital lock. It's also used for checkout, so save the sheet of paper they issue. Otherwise, remember to take a picture as there's no service staff after a certain time and they will lock the doors to the entrance where the only way to get in is the issued code. Someone pressed the fire alarm accidentally one morning, which brought the fire department, ambulance and police to the hotel and the alert was deafening and heard neighbourhood-wide. Look carefully before you press/lean on a surface - there's no covering on the alarm button, but it is in the centre of a giant red circle. It was an eventful morning but we did not enjoy running down and climbing up 8-storeys worth of stairs (they shut the elevators in emergencies). Overall, a relaxing, cool vibe that feels clean and cozy.

В ней было все необходимое для проживания большой компанией: два душа, принадлежности для умывания и ванны, стиральная машина с моющими средствами, принадлежности для чистки обуви, утюг, небольшая гладильная доска и прочие хозяйственные мелочи. Располагается в 5 минутах ходьбы от храма Асакуса и примерно 10-15 минутах ходьбы до ближайшей станции метро, рядом несколько магазинов 7/11, несколько кафе и баров Единственный минус - нужно поднимать багаж по не очень просторной лестнице на 3 этаж, но, в целом, это терпимо

I booked a single bed this time, but unlike the typical 10-square-meter hotel boxes in Tokyo, my space felt genuinely roomy. I could stretch out, lay open my suitcase, and still have floor space to do morning stretches – a rare luxury for solo travelers. 3. Fully Equipped – With Surprising Extras The amenities go way beyond basics. A full kitchen with cookware, a washing machine. But the real delight? The owner’s personal toy collection scattered around – retro figures, board games, and quirky knickknacks to tinker with. And the crown jewel: a vintage record player with a curated vinyl selection, plus a compact DJ setup. Solo adventurers who crave connection but value their own space. Digital nomads needing room to work and relax. Music lovers, design nerds, and anyone tired of sterile hotel chains. If you’re traveling alone in Japan and actually want to make friends – over a shared meal, a vinyl crackle, or a dog’s gentle nudge – this is your spot. Highly, highly recommended.

The room was perfect for our family since everyone had their own bed. The beds were comfortable, which made resting after long days of sightseeing easy. The only downside was limited space if you’re traveling with large luggage. The hotel’s location is very convenient it’s close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. There’s also a grocery store and a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, which was very helpful. The laundry area was another nice bonus for families traveling longer. Overall, a great and convenient stay in Ueno.

The hotel is very clean, beautiful, and offers great value for money. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, making the stay very pleasant. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.

Сразу отмечу отличное расположение квартиры: дом находится прямо у выхода из метро. Отличный вид с балкона. Район вокруг очень спокойный, рядом много комбини, в 10 минутах ходьбы ТЦ под SkyTower, поблизости много милых заведений. Интересно что когда выходишь на улицу: очень тихо, но в квартире с открытым балконом очень слышно шум дороги. Мы жили втроем: места достаточно, но раскладной «диван» на любителя, чтобы смягчить - клали на него матрас, дополнительное одеяло и плюс одеяло под себя, но в целом никаких проблем типа болей в спине не было. В наличии из техники утюг, микроволновка, и прочая кухонная техника, есть стиральная машина, но она не была подключена и мы не стали разбираться сами. Был фен, но он очень слабый и забит пылью, когда включаешь - начинает пахнуть жженым, так что мы им не пользовались. Сама по себе квартира в хорошем состоянии, но есть ощущение что еще немного и может уже перейти в разряд слишком старой квартиры. Из минусов кроме фена: в наборе белья была грязная простынь, сообщили владельцу, он извинился и был готов прислать новый комплект, но мы нашли просто еще одну простынь. А еще мы указывали что будем жить втроем, но тем не менее «диван» не был застелен, пришлось застилать самим.
