Clean and tidy, the room is spacious and the view outside the window is great. In particular, the boss is young, stable, capable and very enthusiastic in taking us to the entrance of the scenic spot (obligation) and walking to the west gate of the scenic spot 1000 steps (self-test) in less than 10 minutes. Although it's not as lively as the north gate, it's a little more peaceful, and it's convenient to eat right next door. B&Bs generally do not provide breakfast. He can provide it. Traveling throughout Gansu province can tend to be hectic so it’s quite lovely to find a spot like Kaoshan Daying to stay at. David was very friendly and helpful, especially with his English language skills. He was always available by WeChat to answer questions.
The yurts are spacious and have necessary amenities including electric blankets and heaters, as well as hot water kettles. They are also clean, most importantly. The shared bathrooms provide shower flip flops and clean towels with lockers and hairdryers. There are sinks outside the yurts and they are also very clean.
The restaurant provides a large variety of ingredients to make a delicious hotpot. It was a quiet night when we stayed and we were able to get a great night of sleep. Our stop there was quite short, only 12 hours, but we would’ve liked to have stayed longer.
