"Voordelen: De locatie van het hotel is geweldig. Het ligt direct tegenover de noordelijke poort van Colourful Danxia. U kunt uw auto parkeren en in een paar minuten de weg oversteken naar het hotel. De kamer is groot genoeg, het algehele ontwerp is eenvoudig en het bed is relatief comfortabel om op te slapen. Het diner werd geserveerd in het hotel. Het eten was erg goed en de porties waren groot genoeg. Nadelen: Het restaurant van het hotel biedt geen alcohol. U moet naar de lobbybar van het hotel gaan om het zelf te kopen. De lobbybar van het hotel heeft niet eens een fles bier. Mijn vriend die met mij meereisde, liet zijn oplader en oplaadkabel in de hotelkamer liggen. Nog geen uur na het uitchecken belde ik de receptie en kon ze niet vinden! Ook dit management is moeilijk te omschrijven"

"The hotel was located within a short walking distance to the West Gate of the Zhangye Danxia which means we can stay until sunset which brought up the colours without the harsh shadow and glare when the sun is up. We visited twice in the late afternoon as the first day was cloudy. The room is clean and odourless with a good size. The owner’s wife helped us with using the free launderette in the top floor. The I owner took us to Binggu Danxia charging us the normal taxi waiting for us to finish. He is extremely helpful and honest. We have our dinner across the hotel and the food was not saltish and taste delicious. We had dinner and lunch there three times. The owner aent us off with oven dried dates. They have a lounge which I use. Highly recommended and good value"

"Despite its modest name, this guesthouse is a hidden gem we discovered on our road trip to Zhangye Danxia. Its location is excellent, just a 6-7 minute walk from the West Gate of Zhangye Danxia. Although it's only about 50 meters from the Zhangsu Expressway, a row of shops effectively buffers the noise from passing vehicles. This clever setup also means easy access to affordable dining options nearby. The guesthouse has four floors: the first three are dedicated to guest rooms, while the fourth floor features a laundry room and a drying area. The lobby is spacious with high ceilings. Rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable sanitary facilities and bedding. The owner is very hospitable, patiently sharing valuable tips and tricks for visiting Zhangye Danxia. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Het is een redelijk goed hotel, op slechts 10 minuten rijden van het Qicai Danxia Scenic Area. De kamers zijn schoon en er is warm water beschikbaar in de lobby. Het enige probleem is dat het kleine hokje een vast raam zonder hor heeft, waardoor er 's nachts licht van andere hotels doorheen schijnt en de kamer te licht wordt. Er is geen eten in het hotel, maar er zijn een paar restaurants op ongeveer 200 meter lopen, die meestal kleine roerbakgerechten serveren, wat lastig kan zijn om daar te eten als er weinig mensen zijn."

"Pros: 1) Location near to many restaurants and about 10mins walk to entrance of the qi cai dan xia entrance 2) Room is fairly spacious Cons: 1) Counter staffs do not serve with a smile 2) Shower pressure is too low and hot water is irregular. 3) Aircon is at the living room and bedroom does not have any aircon and it gets rather stuffy. 4) We stayed 2 nights but there are no room service in between our stays. We asked for replenishment of toilet papers and water but waited for 2 hours until I have to go down and ask for it again. 5) There are no elevators so you have to carry your heavy luggages up to the higher floors. 6) They prioritise Tour Groups and we were denied of breakfast due to a large tour group and was told to have our breakfast outside. Overall one of my most disappointing stay in China for the past 3 weeks here despite being rated as one of the higher tiers hotels in this area."

"The room was clean, hygienic, and luxurious. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. It was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in on this trip. The service was incredibly personal. When my friend had a fever, the hostess went out of her way to find a thermometer and medicine. We went to watch the sunrise early in the morning, but couldn't get a taxi. The host got up at 5:00 AM and drove us there. It was a great experience, but it was too short. If conditions permit, I'd stay longer and enjoy a relaxing vacation. Also, there were flowers blooming outside the house. The host truly knows how to live!"

"Good location 15 minutes to the park entrance. Excellent and so friendly service provided by the staff. Even received a gift when I left (large bag of dried Chinese dates as they did notice I ate the two small welcome bags in the room😉 I guess). Very quiet. I loved it. Noise insulation not great but ok. Good air conditioning system (silent, efficient). Bed on the (very) hard side. Bathroom ok. Shower good (hot water, pression). The area is not fancy for sure but there are plenty of food options around. I am not sure breakfast was available. I slept late as it was raining in the morning ;-) Looking at the room where the breakfast is served I could read: from 7 to 8 AM🤔"
