Hotels in Dongyang met balcony

"We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones."

"Nice place to sleep for 1-2 night ..very close by the amusement park and also best area for sightseeing if you are having a very short stay . Certainly a good place for any ages. Definitely great for a short trip into CHINAwood movie industry .. visiting their amazing equipment facilities which are . also nearby to every area . It’s truly an amazing trip for me"

"Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommend! My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect – just a short walk to Dream Bund, which made it so easy to explore. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are comfortable, making it a great choice for families. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect during our stay. There are many restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of dining options, so we never had trouble finding a good place to eat. The special price for Dream Bund tickets was an added bonus, which made our visit even better. We felt that this hotel provided excellent value for the price. My family absolutely loved it here, and we’ll definitely stay again the next time we visit Hengdian!"

"Stayed in this hotel again after the combo tickets ended. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Could see Qinwang Palace and Dream Valley from the room. The non-smoking room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and had many varieties including some western food. Unlimited water bottles for guests. I also tried their free suan-mei soup which was very tasty. Laundry facility included a washer, a washer/dryer combo and space for hanging dry clothes. It took about 3 hours to dry clothes in the dryer."

"隔音很差，隔壁看電視、講話都聽得一清二楚，更別説走廊上路人走過了。晚上睡的很難受。 其他都還行，乾濕分離，馬桶是智能馬桶，房間採光很好，有太陽的時候整個房間都暖洋洋的。 酒店停車很神奇？沒找到怎麼去地下停車場，門口停不了幾輛車，保安引導去邊上黨校停的。 過年期間邊上外賣不是很多，除了東陽銀泰的幾家奶茶其他都點不到啥吃的。去橫店的話20多公里，半小時多樣子。 酒店的早餐還行，烤紅薯挺好吃噠。雙人下午茶是指水果嗎？砂糖橘和幾顆棗 忘了拍房間的照片了"

"We booked a hotel near the Hengdian World Studios facilities to have an easy access to the scenic areas. This hotel was 5 minutes away from the Palace of Emperor Qin, which already made it an excellent choice, but THE HOTEL ITSELF IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! It has a lot of old-style decoration, the room was wide and had little carvings in the ceiling wooden beams... they were re-arranging the courtyard, we think they may want to plant something? The room was big, the beds very comfortable (very firm and VERY big), the shower was nigh perfect. We used the floor heating system, but there was also available the A/C from the ceiling if we preferred. They gave us breakfast every day, freshly made, the eggs in particular were super fresh. Delicious and abundant! Extra praise to the cook, she was very nice even with the language barrier. About that, we spoke zero Chinese, so we used translation apps all day long. All the staff was very, very kind and made great efforts to be understood. We appreciated that immensely! If we ever go back to Hengdian (hopefully!!), we certainly will go back to this hotel."

"Ik kwam deze keer voor een zakenreis naar Hengdian en koos dit hotel. Ik had niet verwacht dat de ervaring mijn verwachtingen zou overtreffen! De locatie is erg gunstig. Het duurt slechts 10 minuten om naar de Ming- en Qing-paleizen te lopen. Je kunt de lokale gebruiken voelen door 's avonds een wandeling te maken. "五鑽酒店就是比五星酒店更有温度，管家瑩瑩特別貼心，早上趕不上早餐，她擔心小寶餓肚子主動幫忙去餐廳打包了點早點讓機器人送來。酒店環境很好，有很大的小童樂園，有高爾夫球場（可惜冬天沒開放），還有一些小動物：柯爾鴨、孔雀（很幸運遇到孔雀開屏），中餐廳雖然菜品不多但味道很不錯。酒店裡的小甜點價格和售賣機食品價格也不貴，是親子出遊的好選擇，等春天草坪綠了，再安排全家來住幾晚，讓孩子體驗蔬菜採摘，高爾夫等活動。"
