"Service was excellent! WiFi has been upgraded to provide different access for different areas of hotel and we always had availability. Food was very good and our waiter put fresh flowers and petals on our table for each evening he knew we would dine there. Chef made breakfast boxes and lunch boxes to go for our early morning departures. We were always greeted warmly, and our room was clean and comfortable. I was there solo before and after my Kilimanjaro hike and with my husband for a week afterwards. We each highly recommend it."

"Someone at work booked this on my behalf and I failed to check it out in advance or check other options. My heart sunk as I walked in as I realised it was very dated and the stay would likely be awful. It ended up not being too bad all things considered, but is not "nice". It is very dated and needs a refurb. The rooms are massive but not nice with old and tired decor. Cleanliness wasn't great but also wasn't terrible. Hot water availability not too bad, and internet surprisingly good. The bed was hard but quite comfortable. Breakfast was a complete disaster - not open on time, and it's one of those awful places where they lazily cook everything the night before then put it in the chafing dishes to warm up in the morning. So the food is not fresh but worse, if you're early to breakfast it's also cold. The coffee is also terrible. I am glad I only stayed for 2 nights, and the location is good for business. Overall, it was ok for a secondary town in Africa, but there must surely be better options available locally."

"Ik was helemaal weg van deze villa in een dorpje op slechts 20 minuten van Arusha. De kamers waren schoon en netjes, elk met een eigen badkamer, en de tuin was ook erg verzorgd en gezellig. De eigenaar was een ontzettend leuke man en al het andere personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk. Oh, en als je wilt ontspannen in de tuin, serveren ze drie keer per dag heerlijke lichte maaltijden. 's Avonds verzamelde iedereen zich rond het vuur in de tuin om te kletsen en verhalen te delen met vrienden van over de hele wereld. Het was zo leuk! De dorpelingen waren ook ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ik heb zelfs wat lokale vrienden gemaakt tijdens een wandeling – het waren de kinderen van de buren. Er is een school, een kerk en een lokale markt in de buurt, wat erg interessant is. Ik zou hier zeker nog eens verblijven. Ik mis jullie allemaal, mijn vrienden. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen."

"We were in Arusha to attend the Kilifair trade fair and we chose Burka since it was near where the trade fair was being held. The hotel is a small boutique hotel situated in a posh quiet neighbor hood which made it have a homely feel. It has a unique classy rustic finish with very good manicured landscape which is my kind of vibe. The rooms were very spacious with full amenities replenished everyday including a toothbrush!! .I really enjoyed their African foods. You will get good view of Mount Meru from the hotel. We had a very good time and got to meet 2 of the directors who both went an extra mile to ensure we having a good time. Special appreciation to one of the director's Godwin for ensuring we had a good even outside the hotel. Cheers to you! I highly recommend this hotel we will definitely be back! "
