"Taking advantage of the period of freedom from the management of our nephew, we decided, between New Year and Epiphany, to take some holidays, we chose Anzio and following the advice of TripAdvisor, the Serpa hotel, with excellent reviews, I must say, all deserved and confirmed , the location is splendid, a small private hotel, with beautiful, spacious rooms and a spectacular view of the sea, very convenient parking, in front of the Saint Tropez restaurant, owned by the same family, which we will put to the test this evening. Particular credit goes to the staff, whose kindness, availability, correctness and professionalism are truly unique, they are very good, I don't know if we will return because the years... take their toll, but you never know."

"Negative experience, I was disappointed by the Reception as I requested a blanket at 6pm ensuring that the next day at 12 they would bring it to us after having called them back a few hours before to be safe and having given me the confirmation, they showed up at 2.30pm. .. (More than 2 hours late) While we were resting and oh well... Leaving this aside I called to find out what event the entertainers were doing They didn't know anything.... And to look for them and ask for a Giant area... I start to I'm looking for Maria in Rome... (I don't understand why... They couldn't call them and ask??!!!!!) in the end I managed to find them after 3 days by pure chance. On the day of departure I called the reception to accompany us to the car and because we had a lot of suitcases, a gentleman from the reception arrived in the car and after a minute his colleague told us that they had to go and unload a camper... I wonder who they came to go on then... Bha. The fact is, the place is nice and big, but the service in my opinion is pitiful (except for the cleaning ladies, a boy and a gentleman who was supervising the park with the machine. The rest, I'm not satisfied at all with the service, especially at the reception."

"The check in was very poor, the hotel had nothing to offer not even a map of the area or any recommendations. My requests were brushed away being told that would involve them checking and when asked to change the room I was told the hotel does not do that!! Surprising because it was empty, the least they could do is ensure in an empty hotel to allocate a good room and hope to get a good review! The bath room was ok and looked new but it was not cleaned well. As for the rest of the room the sea view was the best part. When joining two twin beds to make a double they could least use a mattress topper in 2025. The first day the breakfast was covered in mosquito. Second day was better. But in a hotel that offers no service just room and a very basic breakfast some attention to detail and effort could go a long way."

Hotel Parco Dei Principi ★★★

"Friendly staff. We weren’t given the room I’d booked but it was adequate although there was an entire coach load of school children making a terrible noise outside our room until 10pm, bashing on our bedroom door and generally not being kept in check by whoever was supposed to be in charge of them. The breakfast was totally depressing, we left and went to a bar. But the room and bathroom was clean. We walked to a nice bar/restaurant 1km from the hotel."

"There's nothing to say about the hotel. But at the beach bar, one employee in particular had a shameful experience. I asked for a frothy coffee in a glass and was told, "I don't even know how the hell you make it." I very kindly told her that you can easily make it at home too. But she even worse said, "Make it at home." The worst possible thing. How the hell can you let someone like that work? And at a bar, too. It's a shame because you can have a good time both in the hotel and on the beach. But I'll definitely never get even a piece of candy at the beach bar again."

"What a delightful 3 star hotel. We stayed here with our daughter and her partner for 3 nights. Unfortunately we were not able to stay longer. The first thing I’d like to say is how pleasant Nino was. We exchanged emails a few times before booking our rooms, he was always kind, answering promptly and perfect English. Our rooms were at the front of the hotel with a balcony and a beautiful see view. Rooms are comfortable, air conditioned and have everything you need including a fridge with complimentary water. The sandy beach is literally across the road and if opting for an umbrella and sun bed you get a 20% discount because you are staying in L’approdo. We would definitely recommend this hotel especially as I have left the best until last. A great breakfast is served on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea and something for everybody sweet and savoury and the bonus also on the top floor is a heated swimming pool……. Divine"
