Picked this hotel as the one we have stayed in before was closed and it is really easy to find when you get off the ferry. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Had a few questions before we arrived and the hotel was really helpful. As someone else has put its not in the greatest of locations but once inside the hotel you forget all about that. Felt safe and at ease with the covid restrictions, the room was lovely, large, spacious lovely sea view, the bathroom was also lovely with a great shower. A very modern room. Even managed to watch English football which was a massive plus. Food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. My wifes starter was more like a starter for two. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone

I stayed from March 13th 2023 to March 18th. Hotel located in a comfortable location to reach also walking and with little effort every area of Ancona. Most beautiful hotel located in historic building. The attention and courtesy of the staff to the clients is maniacal. Everyone was ready to meet with a smile and courtesy every request made by me. Very clean structure. Another accuracy used to the customer is that of free use without further economic worsening of what is present in the refrigerator bar that is pointlessly restored every morning as well as the tisane and coffee that you can do at any time with the The continental breakfast with sweet and salt is served with genuine, good and varied products.Good the chance of having orange sprinkling made at the moment and very tasty. The bathroom has a large shower with a large sofa which is very comfortable and refreshing.

Great hotel, lovely rooms, we had a front facing room with balcony. Breakfast was varied and very good. Majority of staff were fabulous, a couple were a bit unfriendly (maybe they were overworked and busy). The pool was a real highlight. I would definitely stay here again.

Posto da favola, ma abbastanza distante da Portonovo e Mezzavalle se come me ci si muove solo a piedi e con uno saono da trekking. I mezzi pubblici passano di rado e bisogna calcolare bene i tempi. In alta stagione l’hotel dispone di un servizio navetta per il Conero. Il giardino dell’hotel è bellissimo e curatissimo e la vista sulle spiagge del Conero è mozzafiato. Addetti alla reception gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Camera con vista sul mare da favola. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Cena nel ristorante interno: di qualità ma quantità minime. Prezzi sproporzionati. Ho aspettato moltissimo per ordinare, molto tra una portata e l’altra. Non mi sono osato a dire nulla, ma devono essersene resi conto da soli in quanto al check-out mi hanno fatto uno sconto rispetto ai prezzi visti sul menù.

The rooms at Hotel Fortuna are simple and basic - with a desk, bed & wardrobe. My room had a small balcony. The bathroom was decent-sized. For the price, it was worth it. Pros - directly opposite Ancona station. Stay here if you need to get to other destinations in the region by train. Connectivity to the old town is convenient with frequent bus services from the station. It is not walkable so you will need to take public transport. There is a coffee shop next door where you can buy bus tickets. - Polite staff who spoke English well. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Great water pressure which was nice and hot. No kettle in the room so used the hot water to make tea. - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons - Air conditioning was set to ‘Heat’ as it’s not yet summer. Visited in May so the room can get stuffy during the day unless you leave the balcony door open. - No kettle or mini fridge in the room. - The wifi was intermittent during my 2-night stay. - A single plug point near the bed. Carry a multi-plug adapter if you need to charge multiple devices. - Not much in the area for food. - Room keys are clunky and inconvenient to carry around.

Salve a tutti, vorrei parlarvi della mia esperienza in questo albergo. Per quanto riguarda la stanza mi ha totalmente stupito arredata perfettamente, molto grande e comoda per chiunque. Mentre la colazione è stata altrettanto perfetta, dal luogo molto ordinato, pulito e dettagliato su tutti gli alimenti che offriva. I servizi di parcheggio e il wi-fi erano ottimi come anche l'accoglienza da parte dello staff. L'unica nota dolente sta nei condizionatori che di notte fanno abbastanza rumore. The rooms at Hotel Fortuna are simple and basic - with a desk, bed & wardrobe. My room had a small balcony. The bathroom was decent-sized. For the price, it was worth it. Pros - directly opposite Ancona station. Stay here if you need to get to other destinations in the region by train. Connectivity to the old town is convenient with frequent bus services from the station. It is not walkable so you will need to take public transport. There is a coffee shop next door where you can buy bus tickets. - Polite staff who spoke English well. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Great water pressure which was nice and hot. No kettle in the room so used the hot water to make tea. - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons - Air conditioning was set to ‘Heat’ as it’s not yet summer. Visited in May so the room can get stuffy during the day unless you leave the balcony door open. - No kettle or mini fridge in the room. - The wifi was intermittent during my 2-night stay. - A single plug point near the bed. Carry a multi-plug adapter if you need to charge multiple devices. - Not much in the area for food. - Room keys are clunky and inconvenient to carry around.

Posto da favola, ma abbastanza distante da Portonovo e Mezzavalle se come me ci si muove solo a piedi e con uno saono da trekking. I mezzi pubblici passano di rado e bisogna calcolare bene i tempi. In alta stagione l’hotel dispone di un servizio navetta per il Conero. Il giardino dell’hotel è bellissimo e curatissimo e la vista sulle spiagge del Conero è mozzafiato. Addetti alla reception gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Camera con vista sul mare da favola. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Cena nel ristorante interno: di qualità ma quantità minime. Prezzi sproporzionati. Ho aspettato moltissimo per ordinare, molto tra una portata e l’altra. Non mi sono osato a dire nulla, ma devono essersene resi conto da soli in quanto al check-out mi hanno fatto uno sconto rispetto ai prezzi visti sul menù.

Salve a tutti, vorrei parlarvi della mia esperienza in questo albergo. Per quanto riguarda la stanza mi ha totalmente stupito arredata perfettamente, molto grande e comoda per chiunque. Mentre la colazione è stata altrettanto perfetta, dal luogo molto ordinato, pulito e dettagliato su tutti gli alimenti che offriva. I servizi di parcheggio e il wi-fi erano ottimi come anche l'accoglienza da parte dello staff. L'unica nota dolente sta nei condizionatori che di notte fanno abbastanza rumore. P.s complimenti per l'arredamento, moderno e funzionale

Picked this hotel as the one we have stayed in before was closed and it is really easy to find when you get off the ferry. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Had a few questions before we arrived and the hotel was really helpful. As someone else has put its not in the greatest of locations but once inside the hotel you forget all about that. Felt safe and at ease with the covid restrictions, the room was lovely, large, spacious lovely sea view, the bathroom was also lovely with a great shower. A very modern room. Even managed to watch English football which was a massive plus. Food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. My wifes starter was more like a starter for two. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone
