Location is good and the room is clean and comfortable. I booked this hotel for two nights. The first night was at Jinling Tower and the second night was at Jinling Hotel which is a separate building. The morning after my first stay, I had some business in the city and needed some extra time to move my luggage from the first room to the second. I called the hotel and reached senior receptionist Echo Xu who allowed me to keep my luggage in the room until I returned at 3 PM. Thanks to her and the rest of the staff at Jinling, I had a pleasant trip and a marvelous stay at Jinling!

Nice Hotel in perfect location, getting a bit old and rooms need a upgrade to modern design. Check in was not good. Waited a very long time as at main check in time only one staff at the counter. Only after complaning a secong staff stop playing on his smartphone did checkin. That is not acceptable, long que at check in and staff ignored the que and play all time on his smartphone

As a regular guest at sofitel I continue to have good things to say about sofitel! The room was clean and fresh, electrical appliances in working condition and the water pressure was at reasonable standard. Under this booking I also had midnight snack and breakfast included. Although staff did forget to deliver my midnight snack. Annie at reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. She gifted me with a salted duck gift and a small sofitel branded perfume on check out! Furthermore as a member at sofitels fitness center and swimming pool (as somebody who swims everyday here)I was slightly annoyed with the amount of people in the swimming pool. There are 2 designated sections one larger area for free play and another for those who wish you exercise undisturbed. But today there were children everywhere and the life guard didn't seem to mind that kids were disrupting these clearly set up guidelines. After waiting around an hour for things to calm down I decided to complain to her but she just agreed that it was wrong and did nothing about it... After waiting another half an hour my friend managed to have a swim. I hope more effort is put into training staff around managing people within their designated areas.

It’s a really nice hotel. Very big room and great view. Also the bath tub is very big. The bed is really soft and there’s a selection of pillows with different scents that you can order which is great. There were only two issues. First,The hotel reception staff aren’t very friendly. It felt like being checked in by robots. I kind of expected a better manner from such a good hotel brand. Second, the outdoor pool was closed. It says on the website that the outdoor pool closes if it’s raining. But it didn’t rain. The weather was quite nice. They told us it was closed for technical reasons. I felt a little bit cheated by this as one of the reasons we booked the hotel was for the outdoor pool. No prior notice or message was sent. The indoor pool was open but it was extremely shabby. Felt like a public swimming pool. Overall, I feel like the hotel is tricky and offering a package which they can’t fulfill.

Amazing Hotel ! Excellent staff , they all speak english and are very friendly. The food was great wether you enjoy eating western food or Chinese food. The breakfast was my daughters favourite meal at the hotel. The staff even brought my daughter souvenirs and gifts. You can enjoy the environment and relax from the stressful life of a city. I had a great experience in this hotel and I recommend it whether you are there for family outing or for a business trip this is the place you can choose to be. The cafe Late at this hotel was probably the best I have ever had in China. They also have one of a kind designer buildings built by global designers and a museum for those of you who appreciate art. They had lama”s as well and my daughter couldn’t wait to go out and feed them every morning. Thank you for a great experience!

Great Holiday Inn experience. Good value for money, very central and conveniently located next to malls, tourist areas and amazing eateries. From arrival, the staff are genuinely kind and courteous. A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift. I would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and travelers to Nanjing.

The hotel receptionist ~Xiaoqin~ has very good service, warm and thoughtful. The hotel is located in the center of Xinjiekou. The environment is good, the Zen style is unique, the living area is fully equipped, the room is clean and tidy, and the decoration is cozy , making people feel very comfortable . It’s a 3.5 star hotel…. room is great: clean, view (if you upgrade), balcony, huge bathroom, good bed, furnitures well-maintained. When it comes to culinary, it’s a big disasters: room service menu… no breakfast options, no drink options (except 2 local wines, not even soft drinks or water), no restaurants are having any normal drinks and very tiny food selection. Executive Club no need to pay for… even a airport lounge is doing much better. WaiMai only way to eat at such beautiful venue. It’s really a shame. Hopefully Hilton is reviewing this property and get it back on track. Really beautiful venue. Staff also very nice, just efforts from the General Manager is missing. Will not come back but would recommend for the rooms and view.

Nice hotel, not much to complain about, I'll nit pick: The building is very high (30 floors) but the elevators are too damn slow, so it was a bit annoying traversing up and down. I wish the gym had more equipment, like more dumbbells, bench press and just a few more benches.

I went to Ginkgo Lake Water Park to play, and stayed in a hotel because I refused to go home at night. I was very disappointed. 1. Objective evaluation, the surrounding environment of the hotel is very early, on the edge of Ginkgo Lake, the room is a single-family villa, as if living in a park; 2. The hotel facilities are relatively old, the room has a musty smell, the buffet breakfast has few choices, and the taste is average; 3. The sanitation of the room is average, with obvious dust accumulation; 4. The most unbearable thing is the water quality. This is Nanjing. The hotel is located in Jiangning District, which has the largest production value in Nanjing. Ginkgo Lake is just outside the door, and the Yangtze River is next to it. How can there be such water quality? ? ? ! ! ! The water released is yellow and full of impurities. I am used to brushing my teeth with cold water, and the tap water released is also full of impurities. I didn’t know it at first, and I boiled a pot of hot water to drink it, but I couldn’t spit it out. I’m busy with my children and don’t have time. I’ve never had a bad stay at a Kempinski hotel and this one was no exception. Beautifully appointed room, friendly and professional service, a delicious breakfast etc. If I was to really critique I would say I was surprised to find partly melted ice in the room’s ice bucket and also that I do personally like to have a mirror in the shower cubicle for when I shave. This is being incredibly picky though and neither of these things affected my stay in the slightest.

Loved the stay. A small complaint would be that the check-in was delayed by nearly a hour (room was available only at around 2.55pm). This was even after a specific request for possible early check in was made about 4 days before - to which the front desk responded that they may be able to arrange it if available. As a result we were left to walk around the lobby from around 12.45pm, since walking outside was not an option in the nearly 40 degree Nanjing summer weather. I wouldn't have minded if the room was simply not available till 2pm, but having to wait further almost an hour despite coming in early; left a bad first impression. Apart from this everything else went smoothly. Service was good, the breakfast buffet was great, and the room was spectacular with a great view of the Nanjing Eye. Satisfied and would recommend to a friend. Would appreciate if the staff would follow up on a special request as such and inform earlier that the room wouldn't be ready on time.

We were trying out the Fairmont brand for the first time, as it is out of our price range in Shanghai, and it was really an awesome experience. We were met kindly at the reception on the ground floor and not only led up to the reception, but all the way up to check in at the Executive Lounge, and then to our room by the same friendly member of staff. I have forgotten his name after a month, but luckily mentioned it to the manager at the time. We were upgraded from a regular exec room to a two bathroom suite with large lounge area, great bedroom with huge tv, separate dressing area and cupboards, heated floor and lovely bath area in the main bathroom, excellent standard of fixtures, and just a truly luxurious feel. I felt a little like an influencer trying out the best in the city, and had to take a video and send to friends just to show them. Did I mention that all of this was looking out on a great view of the Chang Jiang from the 60th floor, and that the TV had a named and personal greeting for us when we turned it on. It was a truly great New Year experience. We are not much with using facilities, but we did have breakfast for a few days, and the choice is vast. As a brit, I was thrilled to find that they had one of my local sauces that I love to have with breakfast, but is not even available to buy in China in most places (HP). There were stations set up all around the restaurant in a square that goes all around the building, with a great view, and although the stations were a little too far apart for a breakfast collection stroll, the staff offered to bring things to us, looked after us, and were super courteous. The Executive lounge was also an excellent place to stay for dinner. Henry and Flora in the lounge made every interaction really pleasant, and their professionalism shone through. The lounge ladies did their best to speak some English, and looked after us really well, and the quality of alcohol and food was excellent. The lounge was virtually empty most of the time, but the spread was still extensive, and it really all added up to a top class experience. Little did the lounge and hotel staff know but we have stayed in a great deal of Exec lounge rooms now in the last few years of being stuck in China, and this one came out near the top, and definitely beat the high end Marriott hotels that we have been spending a lot of time in. Even the Hotel manager came to speak to us personally and check on our stay. The Fairmont was true quality service, which is surprisingly rare to get in China, and they should be on everyone's shortlist who wants a touch of class in Nanjing.

The building is so high! The lobby is on the 43rd floor and the guest rooms are on the 46th floor. The view is really high! The weather is nice and you can see the perfect sunrise! Waking up early and having breakfast with the sunrise is a unique experience. The location is great, with subways extending in all directions, so you can go anywhere. It feels more convenient than taking a taxi. It's just that the hotel facilities are a bit old and the air conditioning is not very hot. During the coldest days in Nanjing, the air conditioning was really average. It was so cold that we asked the hotel to add quilts to sleep better at night. We northerners can't stand the cold in the room. a feeling of. The hair dryer was not hot and my hair could not be dried. Overall, it was okay. I stayed for three days and the breakfast was quite good. It changed every day.

A very good travel experience. The location of Zhuangyuan Building is very good, right next to the Confucius Temple archway. When booking, I deliberately communicated with the boss and asked for a room with a window. I didn't expect such a big surprise. This is probably the best room in the hotel. Downstairs is the Confucius Temple Pedestrian Street, and you can see half of the Qinhuai River outside the window, with lights up all night, and the Confucius Temple main hall. A very classy hotel right next to the Emperor Ming's Tomb park. We got upgraded to the Executive Suit, the room was perfect. The bathtub is really small and even short, it's smallest I've ever seen, want planning to use it though. Overall, amazing experience! Highly recommend

I watched a concert at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. After it was over, I didn’t have time to rush to Nanjing South Railway Station to return to Shanghai, so I searched for a hotel nearby. I took the subway for two stops to Nanjing University of Technology and walked for another 8 minutes to the hotel. Crystal Orange is a chain, and there are basically no problems with the hardware (occasionally some small areas are damaged, which is normal, and it is not a five-star hotel). There are no restaurants around the hotel, and there is a small supermarket downstairs. If you stay temporarily for one night, you only need instant noodles. That’s it. The front desk also upgraded the room type for free, which is more than 400 yuan, which is really good value for money. Also, I didn’t bring a charger, so the front desk helped me find an Apple charging cable, which is very user-friendly.
