Hot Springs hotels in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan

Surprising good Hotel for an ”Inn”. Although it's self service check in but their staff stood by me all the way to make sure I had no questions.

Spacious and modern room. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service and amenities. Two small things could be improved: the small window at the bottom of the room lets in a lot of light at night; a curtain would be helpful. Additionally, the Wi-Fi is weak, especially in the bathroom.

De kamer is klein maar de voorzieningen zijn volledig en goed. De locatie is zeer strategisch met veel voedselopties rondom. Parkeerplaats met een prijs van 1.100 yen. Onsen, gratis dranken, inclusief alcohol en eenvoudige maaltijd is een pluspunt voor dit hotel.

Stayed one night, location is a bit isolated in terms of restaurants and things to do. Definitely an outdated hotel and could do with a renovation, however the room was definitely very large for Japanese standards so the was a plus!(superior queen). If self driving there is a multistory carpark right behind hotel so that’s also a plus.

Miyazaki is a small city so getting around is not difficult if you stay in this hotel. There is a few local buses to the hotel from the JR Miyazaki station. Within walking distance of 10min you can find almost everything from shopping to izakaya. The best part I like is the sauna and hot spring. It has outdoor and indoor hot spring baths and sauna. Amenities in the public bath is complete with lotion, tonic, hair gel, shaving form and even towel is provided so you don't need to bring your own. Overall, a great hotel.

Ik werd misleid door de vervoersinstructies van Ctrip en nam de Nichinan-lijn naar station Orishohaku. Hoewel het dicht bij het hotel lag, waren er geen taxi's bij het station. Ik liep bijna een uur naar het hotel. Toen ik uitcheckte, regelde het hotel een gratis auto om me naar het station te brengen. Er waren geen restaurants of supermarkten in de buurt van het hotel, wat een beetje onhandig was. De faciliteiten en baden waren prima, en veel locals kwamen er baden in de warmwaterbronnen.

Na twee maanden rondreizen door Japan was Aoshima Fisherman’s Beach Side Hostel & Spa een van de beste accommodaties waar ik ooit als soloreiziger heb verbleven. Het hostel heeft een onsen (warmwaterbron); gasten kunnen een voucher van 700 yen kopen bij een automaat voor onbeperkte toegang tot de ”Mythische Warmwaterbron - Huidverzorgingsonsen♨️” tot 10 uur de volgende ochtend. Het witte zwavelhoudende bronwater is heerlijk zacht, waardoor het een geweldige deal is en handig voor liefhebbers van warmwaterbronnen. De locatie is fantastisch, met een bushalte direct voor de deur en populaire bezienswaardigheden zoals het Aoshima-heiligdom en Oni no Saiban (Demon Washboard) op loopafstand. Aoshima Beach en surfspots liggen op slechts een paar minuten lopen, en er is een gratis onsen-douche naast het strand voor surfers of mensen die net klaar zijn met zwemmen. Een supermarkt ligt aan de overkant van de straat, een buurtwinkel op een paar minuten lopen en er zijn verschillende restaurants beneden. Er is ook een vismarkt in de buurt, wat het erg handig maakt om te ontspannen en te eten. De omgeving is over het algemeen erg schoon en netjes, met een rustige en ontspannen sfeer, een welkome ontsnapping aan de drukte van de stad. Ik was oorspronkelijk van plan om twee dagen te blijven, maar ik vond het er zo fijn dat ik mijn verblijf met een week heb verlengd. Vervoer: • Neem de Nichinan-lijn vanaf station Miyazaki naar station Aoshima en loop vervolgens ongeveer 4-5 minuten. • U kunt ook de bus (Miyazaki Kotsu) nemen naar de bushalte ”Aoshima”; de bestemming bevindt zich daar. Aoshima is een dunbevolkt kustplaatsje en na zonsondergang is het er heerlijk rustig! Een absolute aanrader voor wie houdt van de zee, warmwaterbronnen en slow travel.

We booked a Japanese room and it is quite small. The staff helped to lay the futons and your beds are set up for you quickly in the evening in less than 5 minutes. The room however is a bit small and very limited space left after the beds are set up. The breakfast spread was quite good with Jap and western choices. Location wise, it is about a km from aoshima and a nice stroll along the coast. It also offer wave boarding at about usd100.

とてものんびり穏やかな時間を過ごす事ができました。お料理もとても美味しかったです。チェックアウト時の🍙を持たせて下さったのも、又行きたいと思えました。

This is the best decision I’ve made during my trip in Miyazaki. I should have stayed longer here than I did in the previous booking. Almost everything is almost perfect, from the artificial hot spring to the traditional Japanese bedrooms, which are great additions to the Japanese experience. I believe it is one of the most affordable hotels in the area. The breakfast is a buffet that is included in my stay, and I had to add the Dinner buffet, which is very worth the price since the place doesn't have many restaurants nearby. The hotel is also within a 5-10 minute walk from the JR train station. The staff are also friendly. I definitely will be back here when I revisit Miyazaki soon. The day I visited was rainy, so I was unable to visit many places.
