"Overall the stay was pleasant. The front desk guys were very helpful with our requests. The location is good as we picked it because it's near the restaurant that we wanted to go. It was just a short transit night stay as the following morning we were off to the other part of Tasmania. There is a Wooly about 5-8 min walk away which is convenient if you need to grab some snacks, food stuffs, toiletries, etc. There is a small cafe for breakfast opposite the hostel too."

SophylovemarathonI've been to Australia three times, but this was my first trip to Tasmania. I traveled solo, taking a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart to Launceston in the north. I stayed at this Best Western Plus for two nights, and my overall experience was very good.
**Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant.
**Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Laundry supplies were also provided. The minibar offered free tea bags and instant coffee. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were in the room, with additional bottles costing 4 AUD each.
The parking lot 🅿️ was quite large.
**Service:** Breakfast was a continental breakfast, including bread, butter, jam, milk, and oatmeal.

Very clean and closer to the shops and parking places. But Very noisy surroundings. Requested for quite room but the room was next to one of the main traffic area. We can hear people talking on the street. When motor bikes passing the room it was very loud. Couldn't sleep well whole night.

The owner was very concise and straight to the point, highlighting all the key information. The hotel is located near the market and has its own backyard that can fit about ten cars. Coles and McDonald's are a twenty-minute walk away, and there's a Chinese restaurant right across the street. It's also very close to the port.

The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean.
It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day.
Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but...
And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served.

The room was very tidy and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. However, the front desk initially charged a 10-dollar fee. After checking out, we were informed that this 10 dollars could not be refunded because we had consumed the chocolate and mineral water from the mini-fridge.

Yuk OiThe hotel has a great location and offers free parking. We also received complimentary vouchers for two drinks at the restaurant. There's a park nearby with fishing and a scenic chairlift. The room is well-equipped with a microwave and a heat lamp, both very handy. Plus, you can park right outside your door, so no heavy luggage hauling required. There's also a wetland park nearby where you can go bird watching.

Receptionist is very helpful and friendly, making check in a breeze. The facilities are not too bad, however, unfortunately, I was placed above an inconsiderate, loud and messy individual which marred the experience even though I requested for a bottom bunk. Location is amazing, a very walkable city. Downside is there is no public transportation to the airport.

Lum Weng KeeWaterloo Hotel, by far has the best hotel facilities in our room and the best window view of the sea. The room is spacious for upto four beds. Though we asked for 3 beds; 2 singles and 1 queen size bed. Kitchen facilities, utensils, mugs; plates were adequate; electricity power phone charging were and located at easy to reach places. Spacious Toilet was excellent with adjustable shower host for standing shower; plus bath tub; and heater. Good lighting and heating. Well recommended.

Great location very close to CBD with free onsite parking and nice view. Very friendly reception staff. Just one comment about kitchen facilities - it'll be fair to mention limited shared kitchen in the Trip.com description as it opens only after 9.30am and closes early too. When the feature says kitchen, it has to be a kitchen, not with restricted one. Thanks.
