"Overall the stay was pleasant. The front desk guys were very helpful with our requests. The location is good as we picked it because it's near the restaurant that we wanted to go. It was just a short transit night stay as the following morning we were off to the other part of Tasmania. There is a Wooly about 5-8 min walk away which is convenient if you need to grab some snacks, food stuffs, toiletries, etc. There is a small cafe for breakfast opposite the hostel too."

Het Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse ligt in het hart van het historische Battery Point van Hobart, in een prachtig gerenoveerd 19e-eeuws herenhuis. The hotel has a great central location, high up with nice views. There are plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The staff are warm and attentive. The room size is decent, though the amenities are somewhat limited. The bed is very comfortable. However, the soundproofing is quite poor.

The inn is in the Battery Point, which contains plenty of beautiful scenery and special buildings. There are many kinds of rooms and different demands can be satisfied. The kitchen is not so big but free coffee and tea is provided. Limited bathrooms so maybe you have to wait but unforgettable experience for us. Free parking lot is offered also. You can meet different visitors here and mostly of them are backpackers. During our stay here, it was the owner's daughter's birthday. Sweet bread and donuts are shared for free by him.

The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean. It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day. Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but... And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served.

This is a very good place and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery place. Quiet, clean and well equipped. Staff members are very helpful & friendly. Highly recommended!

No complaints or issues whatsoever. Even without knowing English, everything was simply excellent. On top of that, they gave us a free glass of beer! A truly pleasant experience. Wonderful room, great location, everything worked perfectly, and we were completely satisfied. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

It's quite clean. And the staff is nice. The water is not hot all day,, but warm anyway. Maybe because of too many people. They don't have a place to hang the clothes, but you can pay for the dryer machine. You can get a discount for the Japanese food next door If you live in this hotel. That surprised a bit. The noodle is delicious, But the rice is not.

Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you.

Excellent site to look over The Nuts and galaxy in the evening. Beautiful sunset and sunrise just in front of my room. Close to Stanley Photo Frame which just locates at the back of the Inn. Thanks to Romeo for booking the Hursey Seafoods which serves tasty crayfish and abalone!!

Can't complain for my last minute booking during the busy school holidays. Walkable distance from motel to the historical site (first pic) with lots of choices in their restaurant. Room is clean, spacious with good wifi (stayed at room 11 with laundry next door). The only thing if you really want me to feedback is that you need to be a bit patient for the hot water when taking shower. Thanks for having us

Located by the river, the room has complete and comfortable bedding, the kitchen has complete tableware, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and there is a washing machine. The cutest thing is that wild ducks come to the door to say hello in the morning, so cute
