Vidago Palace Hotel is very easy to access by expressways. The service is impeccable, and the rooms are large and well-renovated. The hotel has a beautiful balcony and pretty gardens.
The dinner there had a good choice of food, and the wine list is pretty extensive, and expensive.
Worth a visit even if is not cheap for Portuguse standars.

The hotel is beautiful with the mix of old and new architecture. Plenty of FOC parking inside the fortress(hotel) and outside. Walking distance to the town and everything you want to see in Chaves. For EV cars, there is a chargeable charging station inside the hotel’s parking.

Beautiful hotel and great service. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning broke down and we were not offered an alternative room. It is regrettable given that it would have otherwise been a perfect stay.

Het was een goed hotel omdat het uitzicht hoog was. Ik weet niet waarom het vier sterren had, maar er waren geen restaurants in de buurt, dus ik heb in het restaurant van het hotel gegeten en het was heerlijk. Het is een spahotel, maar ik had geen spa. Ik vroeg me af waarom het een spa heette.

Hotel location is great, right in the center.
Room is a bit outdated, but clean.
Parking is free.
Breakfast is simple but ample, come with scrambled eggs and bacon's, cornflakes and different breads.

Wanneer je verblijft bij Quinta de S. Bernardo Winery & Farmhouse in Mesão Frio, bevind je je in de historische wijk en in de buurt van Rivier Duero. Dit landhuis voor families ligt op 5,5 km van São Silvestre Kapel en op 15,6 km van São Tiago de Valadares Kerk.
Geniet van recreatieve voorzieningen zoals een wijnmakerij en een buitenzwembad. Dit landhuis bevat ook gratis wifi, conciërgeservices en oppasservices (toeslag). Dankzij een ritje met de lokale shuttlebus (toeslag), die tot 100 kilometer van de accommodatie rijdt, kun je moeiteloos nabije bezienswaardigheden bezoeken.

Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 7 klimaatgeregelde kamers met mp3-docks en een flatscreentelevisie. Dankzij gratis wifi blijf je online, terwijl de tv met satellietzenders zorgt voor het kijkplezier. De privébadkamers zijn uitgerust met gratis toiletartikelen en haardrogers. Bij de voorzieningen horen een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en gratis mineraalwater en de kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt.
