Negli anni precedenti fornivano l’accappatoio per andare nella Spa. Adesso bisogna andare nella Spa con i propri indumenti, cambiarsi e entrare nella Spa solo con un telo. Prima era anche piacevole la mattina andare a fare colazione in accappatoio. Un passo indietro. Peccato. Prossima volta porteremo i nostri accappatoi?

Wanneer je verblijft bij Park Hotel Terme Mediterraneo in Forio bevind je je vlak bij het strand, op een kwartiertje rijden van Haven van Ischia en Porto di Forio. Dit hotel voor families ligt op 1,2 km van Spiaggia di Cava dell'Isola en op 1,3 km van Giardino Botanico Ravino. Ontspan met massages, lichaamsbehandelingen en gezichtsbehandelingen wanneer je de volledig uitgeruste spa bezoekt. Je vindt de recreatieve voorzieningen vast leuk, met onder meer 2 buitenzwembaden, 3 bubbelbaden en een healthclub. Good hotel with a quite nice location compared to other places in Napoli, the room is spacious and clean, I particularly like the prices of the Minibar where they don't charge you triple the price but very reasonable prices, breakfast is included in the stay which was amazing for us, variety of pastries and fruits and they offer the famous things to eat in Napoli for free. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bear in my mind that you have to pay an additional amount for tourist taxes.

房間很好、很漂亮，就是光線太亮，不柔和，衞生間的光線照得我頭暈，後來酒店在窗户上加了一個窗簾才感覺舒服多了；陽台很大，按摩池也非常棒，在按摩池裡麪按摩看海景，很享受，唯一缺陷就是大黑蚊子太多，漫天飛舞，需小心被咬大包，後來酒店加了一些蚊香才好一些。整個酒店沒有帶浴缸的房間，這個比較遺憾。從房間可以直接去下面海里游泳，餐廳在海邊，游完泳就可以直接去餐廳用餐，非常方便。按摩非常棒，雖然環境比較一般，但按摩手法非常到位，很舒服。酒店工作人員非常熱情，樂於助人，總是面帶微笑，非常親切

Deze reis is zeer bevredigend voor het hotel, de locatie is meestal, maar het hotel heeft een paar busjes per dag naar het centrum. Het hotel kan ook helpen om taxi's te noemen tegen een lage prijs. De kamer ziet een vulkaan! De service is ook zeer goed, het is zeldzaam dat er echt een sterrenervaring is, en het ontbijt is ook geweldig! Het is aanbevolen voor een aantal vrienden. Maar voor mensen die niet comfortabel zijn om op de avond naar buiten te gaan om in het hotel te eten, is er weinig keuze voor restaurantrestaurants.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

Could have been very good if not for the nightmare drilling through the morning / afternoon throughout my stay!!! Imagine paying to go away on holiday for a few days peace and relaxation & that’s all you hear throughout the day, especially after a belly full of breakfast!!! It really annoyed me & took all shine off the stay! Highlights for anyone planning a stay here is its close proximity to the Metro - Centro Direzionale, it’s accessible from elevator level 0. NOTE: Reception area is on elevator level  -2, which is where arrive if by taxi or bus. I stayed in the 17th floor which has a decent view, see pictures. The breakfast is decent albeit repetitive, good selections available & runs till 10am, the bar isn’t just opposite the breakfast area. These are on elevator level 0. From this level you can head outside to some restaurants/cafes and the Metro - Centro Direzionale is here too. There’s also a nightclub called THE WALL just outside in this area too. I’m sure the maintenance isn’t a permanent thing, but it ruined this particular stay for me, there was little management could do other than say sorry!!

Hotel location is brilliant if you want to be close to the Central Station to travel to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Royal Palace, etc as this covered the main line, regional and Metro lines. Any concerns around the area being dodgy were soon dispelled as a Police car and soldiers were always close by. The Hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and staff friendly. The downsides were really around the restaurant. The evening meal menu was fussy and would not be suitable for families. That said, the location was great as there were lots of good restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The breakfast provided was fairly limited and even though an extra charge was applicable to porridge and other cooked foods, every time I asked for porridge, I was advised that 'it was not possible'. I believe that the hotel should not be charging for these extras, and they should provide what they include on their menus!

Palazzo Caracciolo is a great place to stay right in the heart of Naples, perfectly located close to amenities and many traditional spots. We know Naples quite well and have stayed in many different accommodations over the years, and this is definitely one of the best we’ve experienced. What truly makes the difference is the staff. From reception to the kitchen, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was fine overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hairdryer and the TV felt quite outdated, the mattress seemed a bit worn, and the pillows were much too soft for our taste. Despite these minor issues, the excellent location and the outstanding staff really improve the stay and make Palazzo Caracciolo a place we wil happily return to.
