Swiss Garden Hotel is gunstig gelegen in een winkelcentrum en ongeveer 10-15 minuten lopen naar de populaire Jonker Street, maar als u zin ​​heeft in wat dichterbij gelegen streetfood en restaurants, dan is het slechts 3-4 minuten lopen. Het hotel is schoon, maar biedt geen roomservice als u midden in de nacht honger hebt. Voorzieningen zijn goed aanwezig. Nadeel was dat de warme douche enige tijd nodig had voordat deze warm genoeg was om te douchen. Anders is de algehele ervaring goed. Gratis parkeren is alleen mogelijk bij L7/8, anders kost Valet RM30 of buiten parkeren RM 15/dag.

Location is great, room clealiness average, can be better. Hot shower is not working. Sound proofing is terrible. U can hear people talking, walk from corridor very loud and clear, open and close their room door will affect your sleep too.

Het hotelontwerp is heel bijzonder. Ik heb een heerlijke dag met mijn moeder in Malakka doorgebracht. De service is ook erg goed. De kamer is schoon. Het is ook een door Michelin aanbevolen hotel. Het is echt fantastisch.

The check-in process necessitates roadside parking prior to accessing the designated car park, which can lead to traffic congestion. The hotel's car park, located on levels 7 and 8, involves a rather arduous ascent. The premises comprise four blocks; two are residential, and two are hotel accommodations managed by separate entities. The room itself is spacious, featuring two beds, and is maintained to a clean and tidy standard. While there are four lifts, their operation is slow, and a transfer is required to reach the car park. Breakfast, a makeshift buffet of local, low-quality food, was provided; however, during my three-day stay, I opted for it only once as it was largely unexceptional.

This the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.

Booked a room with 2 king beds for a 2 night stay w my family. Pros : 1. Spacious room size 2. Comfy beds 3. Beautiful view (we could see the entire city and our window was facing towards sea) 4. Free Parking 5. 10-15 mins walking distance to the River Cruise 6. No problems with lifts. Just some additional notes for travellers : (If) you don’t want room service to clean your rooms bc you don’t mind reusing your towels, you will not be able to receive the complimentary water bottles. For families with cars, (if) you need to travel back and forth between the hotel and outside, you will always need to stop by the lobby counter to validate your carpark ticket in order to get free parking and it’s only valid for 15 minutes (more than enough time).

Hotel is very conveniently located near makuta parade and 2 other malls, especially if you are going there by coach. There is a caring pharmacy just in front and many eatries around. Our 2 bedder family room was big and spacious but the carpets might need a wash and the room feels a but mouldy but we rented an air purifier that helped. Breakfast was average. Overall a good stay.

Mijn recente verblijf in dit hotel was over het algemeen acceptabel, hoewel het gezien de prijs niet echt opviel. De kamer zelf was erg ruim en prijzenswaardig schoon. Hij voelde echter wel wat gedateerd aan, wat de algehele ervaring enigszins deed afnemen. Wat betreft de service was het personeel altijd vriendelijk en professioneel, wat zorgde voor een soepel en efficiënt proces, zowel bij het in- als uitchecken. De locatie van het hotel is niet slecht, met een breed scala aan eetgelegenheden in de buurt, met name uitstekende Chinese opties. Voor wie de omgeving wil verkennen, is de avondmarkt Jonker Walk goed bereikbaar, hoewel het ongeveer 25 minuten lopen is. Kortom, een prima optie als je ruimte en locatie belangrijk vindt, maar wees voorbereid op een wat oudere uitstraling.

The hotel’s location is absolutely excellent—right in the heart of Jonker Walk. Everything is just steps away, whether you want to explore the night market, enjoy local food, or grab a casual drink in the evening. It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay. One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room. The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste. The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay. Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!
