Well, first of all, they didn’t give the Jonker area a proper name. It’s not a walk or a street it’s a whole district. If you’re a visitor to Malacca, you definitely want to be spending most of your time here. And that’s why this hotel is perfectly located. But more importantly, it completely vibes the spirit of Malacca. Good breakfast as well with a good combination of local and standard continental breakfast. Their listing says no parking available because although they do have parking, they can’t promise a lot for everyone. But we had no trouble parking there with our rental vehicle.

This hotel is fantastic! It's beautiful and very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are clean, spacious, and cozy. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the surrounding area is also lovely.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Love the decor a lot! The staff were all attentive and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located, walking distance to shopping malls and many famous restaurants and massage shops In addition, the coach pickup point is just here. Super convenient 👍 Will definitely stay here again !

Place was beautifully furnished and clean. Apartment has many amenities like swimming pool, gym, basketball court, skateboard park etc. Location was good with many food options nearby. Close enough to attractions via a short car ride.

Hotel is clean, spacious and have a big window view, bed is very comfy and cozy. Everything was ok for me. There are different lights and have a lamp on bed side which I like. I would suggest to give better quality toilet paper. Receptionist helped us to charge out phones at lobby while waiting to go back. Breakfast at hotel is nice with affordable price, meet our expectations. Location is not very far from Malacca attractions.

Our high-floor room experience exceeded expectations! The room was very spacious, giving a great sense of open space 👏👏👏🇲🇾. The price was excellent, and the entire room was spotlessly clean – very satisfying. The hotel service was thoughtful and attentive, with warm and friendly staff. The high-floor view was superb, and having a balcony to admire the city landscape was a real plus. Getting around was convenient, with Jonker Street in Malacca just a 15-minute drive away. Overall, our stay was comfortable, offering great value for money for our trip.

Came for training with my office team. The facilities is good but need to improve for better use. Cleanliness is acceptable. Ample space for open parking in front of the hotel. Food tastes good. The cafe Asahan food was good. Room is too small for 3 persons. Overall stay was okay.

I stayed at this unit on 1st August 2026 (Sat - Sun). While I checked in around 10:00 PM and understood that immediate late-night fixes might be difficult, the condition of the unit and the host’s clueless, irresponsible handling made this stay unacceptable for the price paid. The host hides behind an automated AI system that spits out completely inaccurate, unhelpful, and generic replies. After wasting precious time forcing my way through to a human, the support was even worse. When I brought up all the missing facilities I had paid for, they turned around and asked me ”what they could do for me” instead of taking charge responsibility. I shouldn't have to tell a host how to run a proper accommodation when I paid full price for the listed amenities. - The floors were sticky and stained. Cleaners were sent immediate in 10 mins, change the floor bucket by using the kitchen sink. - The bedsheets that weren't even the proper fitted size for the bed. - The washing machine failed to function (told me that its broken), and the Wi-Fi/TV setup didn't work (we were absurdly told the Wi-Fi modem was located in a completely different unit's ceiling!, the cleaner told this is New Unit, Wifi Havent install !) - The master bedroom water heater was broken, they went and check, then left the floor with dirty foodprints. Since the water heater couldn't be fixed at night, their ”solution” was to send a technician at 10:30 AM the next morning, offering a late check-out until 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM as ”compensation.” Offering extra hours in a broken, dirty unit while forcing guests to sacrifice their privacy and endure technician repairs on their final morning is not compensation... Instead of offering a proper refund or a fair remedy, the host simply offered copy & pasted apologies (”sorry for the inconvenience caused”), took our money, and left us to tolerate their mess. This host fails to take responsibility even for basic, functional essentials. I’d be better off staying in a homestay or a simple hostel bunk bed. Save your money and avoid Alviv Homestay entirely. Preferring another host for this property as a returning guest. Love the property itself, great location, easy parking, smooth check-in, and low lift wait times.

The front desk is on the first floor and is quite spacious. The 8th floor features a children's play area. The pool area on the 23rd floor (section A) is very large with beautiful views. The front desk service was attentive and thorough. The hotel is about 1.5 km from Airport Street, which is approximately a 12-minute walk. The facilities are quite complete; the rooms have both air conditioning and a fan, not just AC. There's no breakfast, which is a minor disappointment. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. If you're a couple, the pool area on the 20th floor is fantastic for photos. Very satisfied overall.

Although there was a small hiccup when we arrived, we were still able to check into our room smoothly. The staff even checked the air conditioning beforehand and told us to message them if we needed anything. My first impression of the room was how clean and comfortable it felt. When the hairdryer broke, I messaged them immediately, and they replied quickly and replaced it for us. The location is also great, within walking distance to many places and plenty of food options nearby, so you won't go hungry.
