Our overall stay was great! The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of delicious food, and we really enjoyed the warm hospitality from all the staff. I had requested a little complimentary surprise for my husband’s belated birthday and our upcoming wedding anniversary, and to our surprise, they prepared two cakes for us! Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. We truly felt pampered throughout our stay. Thank you, DoubleTree Johor Bahru! ❤️

Hotel 4 star, big and clean. Service is good. Breakfast many choices. McDonald's next to hotel. Opposite Aeon Bukit Indah....

Affordable hotel with a spacious room that's able to accommodate an extra bed (at an additional cost of 151.20 RM). Room rates are inclusive of complimentary breakfast for 2 adults. You can add-on at the counter for kids above 6 years old. Hotel is located directly above Mid Valley mall which is very accessible from the hotel. Front desk was fast with our check-in and room service was helpful in setting up the extra bed for us. Highly recommended for short family stays over the weekends!

Went there for birthday celebrations And they make a simple birthday cake by towels n balloons , simple and nice Everything is NEW and water pressure is good, bath tub is deep and fit body well. Bath robes material soft and like teddy bear furry 🤣🤣 Coffee machines and washing machines work well, even provide detergent. SOME improvement make it more perfect: 1) kitchen towel might need to ready for light cooking 2) pet friendly lift is slightly smelly, lift running in noise

From the pov of other guests it's a very vary bad hotel. Intercom wasn't working, internet wasn't working and DRILLING INTENTIONALLY DONE with plans of disturbing me. All this was infact not done by hotel management but they were helplessly cooperating in all the mess. Shows hotel is not actually under the control of management but somebody else. BUT I ENJOYED THE STAY. ALL I WANT IS EVIDENCE FOR JOINT CONSPIRACY AND I GOT WHAT I WANTED. in every place I visit drilling happens which proves every single human being is leading life for name sake following somebody else's instruction and not leading their own life. Only by posting these videos in youtube I can make the world understand this.

This has to be the worst Four Points by Sheraton I've ever stayed at 😅. The decor is on par with a 200-300 RMB budget hotel in China; only the lobby and corridors look somewhat decent. The soundproofing is abysmal. You can feel the floor vibrating when kids run and jump upstairs... and the constant hum of the air conditioning unit kept me awake all night. The hygiene was terrible; there were crumbs on the floor, and I even found a balloon left by a previous guest when I lay on the bed... The trash can in the bathroom was also very dirty... My first task after checking in was to clean the room with sanitary wipes. The only redeeming quality is its proximity to a supermarket, which was convenient for buying things.

The room was spotless and everything felt brand new, which made for a very comfortable stay. It was also spacious and bright. The hotel's location is super convenient, and the restaurant upstairs is definitely worth checking out – they have great food, drinks, and entertainment. Shopping is also a breeze with the mall right next door, offering plenty of dining and retail options. The surrounding area is lovely. I'll definitely choose to stay here again!

Checked into Blue Horizon Suites for 1 night - a clean and neat 2r2b, 1 living and dining, full kitchen facilities with electric kettle, microwave, fridge with freezer, washing machine (pls bring your own laundry detergent), dish washing liquid x 2 which is opposite each other on 15th floor of Block H Antaraxia 4, facing the sea.The front desk is located at Level 11 of the same block. Breakfast was delivered to our room at 8am, chocolate drink, hard boiled egg and tuna sandwich. If we would like to upgrade breakfast to buffet at Marina Hotel will be rm40 per adult. Free buggy service to Marina hotel to use their gym room. The front desk was very helpful, answering all queries and registering our car via whatapp. Thai restaurant near to Marina Hotel was good. Fresh seafood at Gelang Patah Pendekar Laut where we bought the seafood rm60 and pay the cafe to cook for us rm116 for 6 pax.

Warm Service but Disappointing Café Incident on 13 September 2026 I hadn’t returned to this hotel for almost two years, so I was curious to see how it had changed. Once my “home away from home,” it now feels like a mixed experience. Service The main reason I continue to return is Ms. Vimala, the Front Desk Manager. She is warm, courteous and respectful, remembers me by name, and showed me genuine kindness and support during a difficult period in my life. Her compassion, professionalism and personal attention make me feel truly welcome. She remains a major reason I return regularly for a break from Singapore’s fast-paced life. Mr. Fadhli at the café was also very friendly and recognised me, even asking why I hadn’t returned for almost two years. It was genuinely nice to feel welcomed back. Unfortunately, the experience took an unpleasant turn when Chef Norazman confronted my partner over a plate we were taking back to our room. He pointed angrily at us. We had informed the café staff, as we had done before in the past, and had always returned the plate afterwards. I understand that Chef Norazman may not have known us or been aware of this arrangement. However, his manner was completely inappropriate. He pointed his finger at my partner while reprimanding him and then continued questioning me angrily about whether I was “very sure” that we had informed the staff. There was no need for the accusatory tone or finger-pointing. I was extremely disappointed and, utterly, disgusted by the manner in which we were confronted. He eventually walked away without offering any apology or attempt to clarify the situation respectfully. A simple, polite question would have been sufficient. Guests should not be made to feel accused or humiliated, particularly when they have already informed the staff. I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously and address how such situations are handled in future. Rooms The rooms appear cleaner than before, and I was pleased to see Smart TVs. With limited shopping nearby, it is convenient to relax with Netflix or YouTube after a walk along the waterfront. Breakfast The breakfast experience was disappointing. The café feels tired, the floor was sticky as though rice had been left behind, and the selection remains limited with little variety. More attention to cleanliness and food choices would make a noticeable difference.Despite having a chef with a strong and aggressive character, the food has not changed a bit since two years ago. Location The area has changed considerably, with several attractions gone and fewer activities nearby. The waterfront, however, remains a pleasant place for a relaxing walk. Overall I still return mainly because of the warmth and professionalism of Ms. Vimala and the peaceful waterfront. Those are the two things that continue to make this place special to me. However, the breakfast experience and, especially, the way the café incident was handled were disappointing. I hope management will address these areas so that returning guests continue to feel welcomed and respected.
