"The best ski in and ski out and Onsen hotel in Japan so far! We loved the hotel so much in Oct 2025 so we rebooked and came again from Dec 20-24, 2025. 1. Very convenient for ski experience. Ski in and ski out. Ski rental and ski coach school are just besides hotel. Good experience for rentals and coaches hiring. 2. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great and so yummy! The food does change every night to give you diversified variation to choose from. Very delicate food preparations by great chefs so don’t worry you will never get bored. 3. Onsen is also great great great! Great view and women and men get alternate the hot spring pool everyday. 4. First floor relaxing area is great great! You have self service bar of juice / soda / coffee and popsicles. 5. The hotel staffs are so nice and make you feel at home. Motoyo-San is extremely friendly and her English is so fluent!!! We were very lucky to have her help out during our stay. 6. 3rd floor is newly renovated so pls try this beautiful room next time! Highly recommend!!!! Great for family and couple trips!"

"This hotel just opened, so it's very new and super close to the station. Plus, if you walk another 5 minutes, there's a 24-hour Aeon supermarket, which is incredibly convenient. They also have a free public bath and lounge open until 1 AM! It was so good that I booked another night for my return trip!"

"The hotel is loaded with tourist groups who are unfortunately pretty rowdy and rude. Service at the hotel itself was excellent, and for the price and location it’s a reasonable stay, as a ski-in-ski-out hotel. Breakfast is a standard Prince Hotel buffet."

"This is the best ever hotel I have ever been to in Japan. The name Richmond guarantees so many things. You can count on it. Even though it’s not in a big city like Tokyo or Osaka, but if you are visiting Morioka - choose this hotel. It worth every penny of yours. The staffs are so helpful, dedicated and dependable at anytime and any situation you need. All staffs say that their English are not good, but I who lived in London for many years would say that their skill is more than just okay. Even the housekeepers are still nice. I have some problems with my luggage transfers to the airport from the hotel and they are trying their best to help me alleviate those. There is a free service lounge from noon to 8pm in the 2nd floor. The microwave oven and ice machine on the 7th floor. The coin washing machine is also located on the 7th floor - 500 yens for wash and dry. Convenient store(Lawson) is on the ground floor with direct access from the lobby. I’ve stayed on the 9th floor. The room is big and the view of the station was fabulous. Free WiFi is available. And the TV system communicates with all the system of the hotel shows all the information you need - even the time left of the coin washing machine that you used. Yakiniku and many delicious restaurants just around the corner from the hotel. Definitely will stay here again anytime I visit Morioka."

"This is a highly recommended and convenient hotel right in Morioka. The location is perfect: it's situated directly across from the train station, easily accessible via the underground walkway. It's also near Kaiunbashi, one of Morioka's signature spots, offering a great scenic view. For ultimate convenience, there's a 7-Eleven located right on the ground floor of the hotel. Beyond the location, the staff are very nice and incredibly helpful. The lobby provides an impressive array of amenities, more generous than many hotels I've visited. The room size is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious, meeting the excellent standards of the Daiwa Roynet brand."

"The location is beautiful and the views from the car park assured us we had chosen well. Check in was helpful and all facilities were fully explained at this time, allowing us to book our dining time. The room was comfortable and traditional; the view, amazing! With an afternoon of sunshine, time was taken to enjoy the view in a temperature controlled setting. There was a beautiful tea set and tea provided along with some complementary snacks and water. The toiletries provided were lovely and I shall certainly be looking to purchase these for my home. Dinner was a Chinese style buffet, with an excellent selection of dishes. Barbecues for the table and delicious sashimi and hand prepared sushi. Soups, stews, salad and more! To follow was an assortment of cakes and ice creams. Staff were very helpful and polite and the food was filling and delicious. We then retired to the hotel bar where we were again greeted by a lovely member of staff. Upon return to our room, futons had been prepared and the room made ready for sleep. These were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious with a huge array of dishes to choose from. Check out was simple and staff were helpful and polite. I will definitely be returning! I"

"De aankomst in Hanamaki liep bijna 3 uur vertraging op vanwege tyfoon Yangliu. We namen de bus vanaf het vliegveld naar station Morioka. Zodra we uitstapten, zagen we het hotel aan de overkant van de straat. We moesten echter wel een stukje omlopen om bij de lift te komen. Het hotel was schoon en comfortabel, met een geweldige locatie. Er waren izakaya's en supermarkten in de buurt, wat erg handig was. De buitenkant van het hotel werd gerenoveerd en er was 's ochtends een gratis eenvoudig ontbijt."

The location is convenient for accessing the ski slopes, and there’s a surprisingly good variety of food options nearby. From traditional Japanese meals to Western-style cafés and hotel buffets, you’ll find plenty to enjoy after a day on the slopes. It’s a great spot for both outdoor activities and relaxing in comfort."

"1、酒店迎接巴士從一關站前，建議還是預訂，否則有可能沒有大車，路程還是比較遠，約半小時。送行巴士可以到一關或者是平泉，也可以順路到嚴美溪。作為附近的旅遊中轉站其實很不錯。 2、酒店外風景很好，溪水顏色碧藍，很漂亮，温泉水質感覺也很不錯。有牛虻，要稍微注意。 3、餐食都是半自助，確實不怎麼樣，可以選擇的自助品種很少，相對來説主材選擇烤牛肉、壽喜燒最好，海鮮鍋和豬肉鍋都很一般。如果對餐食要求比較低，這裏真的不錯。 4、主樓房間視野很好，風景秀麗。 5、要注意提醒酒店當天要打掃房間，否則可能就不打掃了。"
