We verbleven een nacht in een tweepersoonskamer met uitzicht op het meer en een eigen badkamer. Het uitzicht is de moeite waard. Personeel was vriendelijk, kamer was schoon, gemakkelijk in en uit te checken. Locatie was gemakkelijk aangegeven en parkeergelegenheid beschikbaar. 5/10 minuten lopen naar een paar lokale frietkraam, een bar en winkels indien nodig, evenals toegang tot de bar en het restaurant ter plaatse. We verbleven op een zondag in juni, die rustig was. Het gebouw is een ouder gebouw, dus erg krakend, maar dat maakt deel uit van de charme. Thee/koffie en waterkoker aanwezig in de kamer, evenals een kleine Schotse koekjestraktatie. Perfecte tussenstop voor verdere reizen naar het noorden of een andere situatie. Zou zeker weer boeken.

I booked a two-day stay, but had to cancel one day due to travel arrangements. Unfortunately, the hotel wouldn't give me a free stay, so the two-day stay allowed me to relax and unwind in the quiet town, resulting in a better experience. The other guests were all elderly, clearly wealthy white couples; according to the promotional materials, King George VI and Montgomery had also visited and stayed there, making it a great vacation spot. 👍

We had a sea view room which had a great view, but the windows were so dirty and cobwebs in the corners that it actually spoiled that for us. The staff and service they provided was excellent, but however I expected a wider variety of meals but the menu was very limited. It was nice to sit at the tables provided outside when having drinks, but again the metal railings at the tables had a lot of chipped and flaked paint and made the hotel look rather run down. The dining rooms and all the seating areas with lovely leather chairs was very nice on the ground floor, but moving up the stairs there was black tape holding the red tartan carpet together, our room actually had small nails holding the wallpaper on the walls. It all looked great online ,but close up it was rather tired.

the stay was decent. What stands out from all the similar properties is really really really good bed (double bed turned out to more of a superking), nice size tv (50+ inch), sockets with USB are a bonus. interior design is subjective to taste but its not my priority at this price. I guess one can highlight fresh furniture. Bathroom: Clean shower, standard number of towels and shower mat, hair drier, heated towel rack, shampoo/soap/body lotion and soap bar. Waiting staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast: the breakfast is usual full Scottish breakfast variety buffet, (fried eggs, black pudding, hashbrowns, scones, sausages, bacon, beans) with plenty condiments available as well as 3 types of toast, couple of cheeses and hams, fruit salad, yoghurts, various sweet pastries. Full set of teas, jams honeys etc, but coffee could be a little better, but again cannot complaint at price. The hotel it is definitely underrated. While some things around hotel are a little flimzy, dusty, it is very decent value. it all fades away when you realise how nice it is to have a fresh large bed and that it is basically minutes away from ferry terminal. Great views are come as a big bonus. Note for parking: very limited, but you can park at council carpark not far away at reasonable cost.

All the front desk personnel are the best asset this hotel has. The place could do with an update of their appliances and furniture in their rooms. Soft furnishings are ok. The cleanliness could be a bit better. They lent me slippers so I could use the steam room and it was a great addition to my stay. Overall I give the place a 3/5.

Loch long Hotel kan veel schooner zijn. Maar wat mijn verblijf echt verpest was UK.trip.com. Na ik .ade de boeking trip.com aangekondigd dat de boeking niet kan worden gewijzigd. What a lovely hotel!! We arrived late but the owner greeted us and suggested places to eat as they didn’t do dinner. The room was very clean with two single beds which were so very comfortable!! The room was en-suite and had a lovely view of the golf course and the sea. We had drinks in the hotel bar Which was very warm and friendly. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area Breakfast was Full Scottish and was delicious and plentiful. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others. The owners are warm, friendly and helpful, and the room very comfortable.

非常不錯，小鎮地方不大，算是在中心地帶。性價比挺高，酒店的bar選擇也挺多，服務熱情，離海岸步行可達。
